A nice area at the extreme tip of Key West centred around a historic fort. And all just for a few dollars per person. The fort itself can be walked around on your own, or it's possible to be guided too - plenty of exhibits...More

Fort Zachary Taylor and park are well worth a visit, the Fort is a history lovers paradise and goes back to 1812, it was used in both the Spanish American and the American Civil war when it was held by the confederates, also used to...More

This is a great place for history lovers. We had a great guide and enjoyed touring the fort. It's a beautiful place with so much history behind it.

Minor entry fee to walk around the Fort also provides access to two beach areas, fishing off a rock-pier, and some walking trails. Nice way for individuals, couples, or families to spend a few hours away from the hustle and bustle of Key West without...More

I went to a school in Louisville, KY named Zachary Taylor and never really knew anything about him, now I do! It's a nice, open-air fort where you can climb on some of the walls (would be great for children), and some interesting exhibits.

We love history and found the for very interesting. The beach was quiet and gorgeous. If you don't like crowds for the sunset, go here! There were tables in the shade too!

This is a solid walk from the town center, but the beach and setting is incredible. The beach on the Atlantic is large and sandy. The gulf side is beautiful but not open for swimming. There are many picnic tables throughout to get some shade...More

As a local I come here all the time. It's like $7 for 2 people and God forbid you don't have cash! These people will give you THE WORST ATTITUDE if they have to take your card. I get that it might be a small...More

Gorgeous view of the water and nice way to relax on a beach. I would recommend bringing water shoes if you plan on going in the water as the ground is rather rocky. When we went, there was this awkward smell near the beach, but...More

They make you drag chairs all over the place, beach is loaded with coral and shells. Needs a good cleaning of the beach. Go to smathers beach instead for free.

Sorry, can't help you, but I too enjoyed those lovely trees at Fort Zachery. I'm hoping that lots of places in the Keys come through with out great harm.

Yes lots of parking, but really filled up quickly on the Saturday we were there. A different perspective on the actual fort - you need to take a few minutes to explore the fort. Worth the time. Have fun!
