First this beach is situated over by the airport, just south of it. I got there early in the day to eat my breakfast. There was a smell but after a few you didn’t notice it. A few people were on the beach and someone...More

It was there when we visited in March of 2019. But it pooled in a certain spot against a peninsula where there is an entrance, restrooms and chair & umbrella rental. We moved just slightly away from there and had no problem enjoying the beach. There is a long strand of beach. Unless the water is completely disturbed, you should have no problem getting away from it and enjoying the water.
