where to eat near Mallory Square, dinner, on the early side (9 Replies)
Thinking of going down to Mallory Square tonight to see the sunset (assuming we get some more sun!) Any suggestions on where to eat dinner nearby (interested in good food, mostly, although a view and /or good atmosphere would be nice.)

what area to stay for senior with walker? Car, taxi or uber? (5 Replies)
Mom wants to revisit Key West. First and only visit was back in the 50's! She is not walking all that well and uses a walker. Should we stay near Mallory Square or near South Beach? Will we need a car, or do most hotels bring guests to the square? Maybe rent a golf cart? Favorite hotels or b and b? We are arriving by boat from Naples, FL.

I would suggest staying near Mallory Sqaure. There is more things to do and more places to go in that area. You are basically in the heart of the action. I prefer B&B's when I visit but have been to the Peir House on several occasions too. If you gel you need a car check out the Curry Mansion Inn they have a nice lot for parking. Not too many places have a place to park. As for renting a golf cart you might as well just use a car since parking would be the same.

We felt that the steady rain just added to the experience, and stretched our meal out as long as we could. I’d heard so much about the Lobster Benedict on here that we had to try it. Hub got bacon...More
