About Blue Planet Kayak Eco-Tours
Blue Planet Kayak invites you to escape to the seclusion of our tropical “backcountry” locales -- only accessible by kayak. More than a kayaking trip; we offer an Eco-Tour Experience! Glide across warm, crystal clear water only inches deep to the shelter of mysterious mangrove islands. Our guides are happy to explain this ecosystem's uniqueness in plants, marine life, birds and natural history.Let us catch marine animals only an expert could find for you to handle and photograph. Learn about egrets, herons and other birds roosting only feet away or prying the flats for food. Geared for any level of paddler, you won’t have to go far to see the hidden beauty that so many have called serene, enchanting, romantic and captivating. We take a maximum of 10 people per guide for a personal experience.

I did the night kayak tour TWICE in the month of June, each time with a different friend. Both of my friends and I absolutely loved this excursion. It’s time and money well spent on the water. Andy was our guide both times, and he is extremely knowledgeable about the

My cousin and I signed up for the sunset tour and this was our first time kayaking. Grateful that our tour guide was very patient with us as we learned how to maneuver the kayak. She was very informative and kept the tour exciting. I highly recommending booking a tour with them.

I made a return trip to Blue Planet's Kayak Eco-Tour - specifically the nighttime kayak tour - after my first experience ten years ago. They are an amazing, tight-knit group who do everything they do for the right reasons. This time around, my wife and I went out with Andy and

Terrific! Yes we are a small outfitter with the same guides for years. Andy went beyond what was required and expected. I’m not surprised. My guides and myself thoroughly enjoy educating and entertaining our customers as we lead them through the mangrove islands and clear shallows . And FYI there’s probably no safer place in the Keys from the Coronavirus than away from the crowds and gliding along in the fresh air of the near shore marine habitat. Paddle on

Fantastic! I’m so glad Sam and his wife got out of this Private tour exactly what they did. My guides and myself find the Private Tours often the most satisfying. People who choose private excursions are often the most “into it” meaning the nature , the interaction with the guide and the quiet of a small party. Also the pace is dictated by them. Sam’s tour was the one described as Wildlife Refuge Private Kayak Tour. Check it out on our website I think you will find it alluring. We paddled Perky Creek mangrove habitat 17 miles from Key West. I’ve paddled, snorkeled and explored this area since the 80’s and can show you tidal creeks seldom seen by others. Experienced paddlers call me for a private outing at Perky or into the Knockemdown Keys located 20 NE of Cudjoe key 20’miles from Key West. You may bring your own kayak. It will feel a world away from the hustle and noise of Key West
