My son and I went on a 1/2 day afternoon reef fishing trip today with Captain Justin and Allen. Set up the trip last minute the morning of and it turned out to be a great day. In about 2.5 hours of fishing, we caught 13 yellowtail, a kingfish, a large horse eye jack and two big black groupers. Captain Justin has been fishing the area for 30 years and really knows his stuff. Highly recommend this boat, will fish with them again.

Captain Mike and Tylor made a great team with a lot of energy! First trip for my sister a dream come true. first wahoo caught at 830 in the morning. Tylor hustled throughout the hole trip. What a day of great fishing. they moved around to find right spots. They were our cheer leaders. It was a trip of a lifetime !!!!

From the very start Ashley was so helpful with arranging our trip! We are avid fisherman here in Minnesota, but try to deep sea fish when we vacation. So far we have tried to take a trip 3 times and to no avail were cancelled due to weather. Ashley was determined to get us out on the water. We choose to do the 4hr shark fishing trip and we are so glad we did! We met Captain Hopper and his mate Tyler at the dock, as soon as we got out to open water it rained, but no fear we were handed a rain jacket and started to fish. Capt. Hopper and Tyler were knowledgeable, friendly and worked hard to put us on the fish. We were pretty thrilled when the first shark was hauled up to the boat. We caught 4 plus a lot of other bait fish and some smaller sharks. We had a fantastic time from start to finish, once we got back to the dock we were greeted by Ashley with gifts and Tyler even cut us up some Tuna and Snapper to bring over to the nearby restaurant Sharkie's. After a evening on the water we were famished! The food was prepared excellently and we couldn't have planned a better outing for our evening. Thank you Capt. Hopper, Ashley and Tyler for your hospitality, we will be back! I guess we will bring the kids next time :) Highly Recommend!!!

The Captain and his mate, Tyler were great. Both put us on fish and were very patient with us. We are use to inshore fishing in Louisiana and it was our first time offshore fishing as a family in beautiful Key Largo FL. The boat was comfortable and very nice.

Fantastic II Charters Key Largo Just OK 763424745 It’s was just OK. It was my family of 4 and We settled on the large boat and the 3/4 day at $1000. They are completely unresponsive to their own website inquiries. Really guys, just remove it from the website if you’re going to ignore it. We had to track them down to try to get a charter. I was NOT impressed with the service we experienced on the phone, but whatever. We had been referred by local friends and were excited to fish with Capt. Justin. Turns out the captain had a better charter so he pawned us off to his son. His son, Dallas, and the mate, named Tyler, were both great guys and worked hard. No complaints about their hustle. We started off by spending the first 30 minutes catching live bait. Except they couldn’t catch hardly any. In my opinion, a better outfit would have picked up live bait at the bait house a mile away before coming to the dock just in case they can’t catch any on the reef. Then we Fished for ballyhoo for the captain of another boat. At least that didn’t Take long. But why are we bait fishing on my dime? When we finally got started we did some reef fishing and we’re able to grab a good sized black grouper and a few yellowtail and a mackerel. We headed to other spots and we’re able to catch bar jack and we almost had a large shark. Everything is Finally going well and we’re finally starting to quickly catch fish when we run out of live bait and the trip gets cut short. We’re back to the dock 30 minutes early. Once back at the dock we have to wait for the captain and mate to clean the entire boat before they start filleting the fish. Why do I have to wait for them to clean the boat? Later, I heard that They claimed they were waiting to clean the fish until we returned from the restroom for pictures.....that took 5-10 minutes....But they continued to clean the boat after we all got back. On top of it all, there is another captain of another charter service at the dock who is rude & obnoxious. He was drinking but I got the feeling the guy is always a jerk. His conversation at the dock was inappropriate. But he was NOT part of this crew. Just another idiot on the dock. Perhaps my expectations were too high but I was disappointed. Seems like most things in the Keys are done in half-measures. Is everyone laid back or is it lazy? Again I should mention that Dallas & Tyler were good guys and hustled. It was more of a lackadaisical manner in which the entire operation was run. I expected more for $1000.00. --------------------------------------------- My wife did speak with the owner and they apologized for the issues and helped us out with the cost of the trip.
