South Florida Fishing LLC is owned and operated by Albert Adams, a Florida native who has held a 100 ton USCG license since 1999 and has fished all over Florida with over 25 years of experience on the water. Fishing charters include offshore fishing, reef fishing, backcountry fishing, spearfishing, lobstering, snorkeling, and a variety of eco tours. Full day, 3/4 day, and 1/2 day tours available.

Great experience!! Wonderful fishing charter with Captain Elmo and Ryan!! They were informative, friendly and helped us create an absolutely wonderful fishing experience. They located numerous fish and made sure we made memories, caught lots of fish and enjoyed every moment on the boat! Once we came back, they took pictures for us and cleaned and bagged the fish! Gave us recommendations to cook the fish ourselves and also recommended places to take it to have it prepared for us. If you are looking to enjoy the water, catch some fantastic fish - this is the charter to choose! There are many boats with poles that will take you out - but none as knowledgeable and committed to your success as this one!!

spent a couple of days fishing with Capt Elmo and first mate Jess. the first day we caught our limit of mangrow snapper by 1 o'clock. Capt Elmo and Jess are great to fish with , very helpful on what we needed to do to catch fish. The second day they chummed up a ball of yellow tail snapper behind the boat that was almost as big as the boat. All we had to do was cast right behind the boat and hang on for the fight.
We can't wait untill next year to go fishing with them again.

We wanted to fish & snorkel on a half-day trip, which is often a little hard to do in the Keys. Captain Elmo & his partner Jessica made it happen. It was clear that Capt. Elmo possessed local knowledge & is an experienced fisherman and diver.
I grew up boating in FL & have lived/traveled/fished/dove in multiple island destinations. I’ve seen my share of fishing, snorkeling & dive guides who may know their craft but lack professionalism & decorum – Capt. Elmo is a cut above. Capt. Elmo is low-key, calm & just an all-around nice guy. We hooked into some small snappers, then went after & caught some beautiful cero mackerel. He & Jessica genuinely seemed to want to make sure we got what we wanted out of the charter. The friendly manatees hanging out under the docks were a nice treat!
The weather was a little uncooperative for snorkeling, but he took us to a healthy reef that was isolated & not overrun by other snorkel boats. We would definitely book with him again.

One of the best fishing charters we have ever been on. Captain Elmo, Jessica, and Addison were very knowledgeable and open to what we wanted to fish for. We went out for a full day charter on the hunt for some swordfish, and hooked one up late in the day. Also caught two pomfrets which were amazing to eat. If you want to catch some big fish while learning about how to be a better fisherman, give Captain Elmo a call

I usually don't take the time to write reviews; however, I felt inclined to do so after my latest fishing experience. We were on a family vacation in the Keys and booked a trip through Capt Elmo based on the favorable reviews on Trip Advisor...and, we couldn't have been more pleased!
My 16 yr old son and I couldn't wait to get out there; however, my wife and my 14 year old daughter were against a fishing trip on "their" vacation. I communicated this to Capt Elmo in advance and he let us know that he would be flexible and come up with a plan that would appease everyone. Just by talking to him on the phone, I had a good feeling going into the trip that we were in good hands.
From the outset, he was easy going and very accommodating. This helped put the ladies at ease and by the time our lines were in the water we were catching fish and the good times began. We fished for a half day and enjoyed every minute of it. He told us some memorable stories along the way...and, my daughter hooking a barracuda (while reeling in a hog fish) will be a story that we will never forget! Looking forward to the next time we are in the area...tight lines!

Family configuration with 2 young kids (5 and 3). We went two times in a week, fishing with Ryan and the captain. Reef fishing and Mahi. Both times we reach the goal, fish and fun. Experience to be remembered for a long, long time. The 5 years old was completely crazy, much better than all the ipad app.
Rayn knows perfectly what to do and where to find the best spots.
No one of the staff look at the time, the important is that the client enjoys the charter.
Looking forward to try againg, maybe with a lobster tour🤞.

Great time. I took my 12 year old son and 16 year old daughter and Capt Elmo put us on the fish in no time at all. Great first time deep sea fishing for this family. First mate Ryan busted his but to keep us catching fish. Will defiantly use South Florida Fishing again when we come back to Key Largo next year.

We had a blast with Captain Albert and would recommend fishing with South Florida Fishing. Our 2 boys ages 12 and 10 were able to catch barracuda and king mackerel. If you want to catch fish, check out Captain Albert!

We told Capt Elmo that we wanted to catch some good eating fish and he put us on the hog fish. We almost had our limit of hog fish plus a few mutton snapper and a lot of porgy's. We had a great day of fishing. Capt Elmo's equipment was first rate, the boat was clean . he had plenty of bait, was friendly and helpful. This is the second time we have fished with him and will fish with him again when we return to the Keys
