Captain Jeremy was able to help us find lots of fish even though the weather windy. He knew the spots to find trout, snapper and redfish. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a fishing charter and aren't interested in sucking up a lot of time with deep sea fishing.

While on vacation in Key Largo even though we had taken our own boat we got in contact with Ankle Deep and booked a fishing trip. Jeremy was great. He took us out explained to us about catching the right bait and even took the time to show us how to find it. After catching our bait he took us out and within minutes we were catching fish. We all had a blast and it was all thanks to Jeremy and Tara! If you are looking for a great way to spend a day and having fun look up Ankle Deep Fishing Adventures!!

My daughter(11yo) and I booked a 4 hour trip with Captain Jeremy and he was fantastic! This was our first time fishing salt water so we didn’t know what to expect. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient although I think he helped me more than my daughter since I caught a couple tree fish. We caught snook and snapper mostly and the action was really good the entire morning. My only regret was that we didn’t book a longer trip. I would highly recommend Captain Jeremy. He is worth every dollar and made for an extremely fun and exciting day. I know this is a memory we will fondly have for years to come!

I don’t even know where to begin. We went out on a deep sea fishing trip. At first they seemed to be putting in effort. Baiting and setting the lines. They interacted with us and was up for conversation. The captain was up on the top the whole entire time. The last 2 hours so were the mates. We went out on a 6 hour trip and we only got two fish. They didn’t try changing things up or even offering any other types of fishing. But gladly asked for a tip after it was over. It felt more like a awful boat ride(of which made me sick the whole time even with meds) than a fishing trip. $1250 for a fishing trip and walked away mad about the whole thing. This was not the experience we paid for and it was a birthday present to my husband. All in all horrible. Waste of money and I would not recommend this charter or captain to anyone. You will not get what you paid for. He has a good talk on the phone but don’t fall for his b/s

Captain Jeremy not only did an excellent job as a fishing guide. He gave me and my two sons a fishing adventure of a lifetime. We will always have great memories of our experience. Since he grew up here on Key Largo, his expert knowledge of the area was extremely helpful for us to catch many large fish. He also told us about the area and the local wildlife. It was both fun and educational. We will always be grateful for the wonderful time we had while here in the Florida Keys.

As a lifelong upper Midwest fisherman a back country fishing trip in Florida was a bucket list trip of mine. I settled on Captain Jeremy at Ankle Deep Adventures. It was a wise decision. Top notch equipment. Very knowledgeable about the local waters. We caught a lot of fish. He gave me a few tips on how to cook the fish at the place that we had rented for he week. I will be back. Thanks Captain!

Captain Jeremy is friendly and knows the fish. He put us into the fish and came through with the best trip ever. I was hoping to hook a big tarpon and he made it happen. 25 mins of fight and about 65 lbs later I crossed tarpon off my bucket list. My wife saw a manatee and had a lot of fun documenting the experience. Thank you Captain Jeremy.

When it comes to fishing, I am very practical. Fish for what I like to eat, and go where the fish are biting. When I contacted Jeremy about a fishing trip in early March for my wife and I and our two pre-teen daughters, that is what I told Jeremy. I said I would leave it up to him as to when the best time to go was. He suggested a half day trip that started at 4pm.
We met him just south of Key Largo at the boat launch site. He had just caught a large number of live bait fish. We hopped onboard and away we went for a 30 minute ride across the keys to a deserted island of mangroves. He directed the boat into a channel and cut the engine. We drifted to a spot no wider than about 30 feet and set anchor. He had 4 casting rods set up, and showed all of us how to set the bait fish on the hook so they stayed alive. He then showed us how to cast, and the best locations, and, I am not kidding you, the fish were biting within 5-10 seconds max. It took a little getting used to to know when to start reeling them in. Too soon and you jerked the bait fish out of their mouths. A second too long, and they stole your bait fish. We caught dozens of fish, and kept about 12 good-sized ones. My wife and daughters had a blast. Jeremy was very patient and helpful. We reached our quota and headed back. By then it was dark, but with a full moon, the ride was beautiful over very smooth waters.
Jeremy cleaned our fish, and for the next two nights we enjoyed tasty red fish. Highly, highly, recommend!

My daughter and I went out with Jeremy to celebrate my birthday and her Spring break from college. He picked us up just down the street from our hotel and after a short stop for bait the fishing was on.
We had a great day of fishing. By the end of the day the cooler was full with lots of fish to filet. Jeremy is highly experienced and just fun to be around. He made every effort to insure we were having a good time. I will book another trip with Jeremy the next time we are in Key Largo.
