Chris and Sean were great and brought us out for one of the best fishing trips we have ever been on. They were very knowledgable of the water and how to bring in the fish. Thanks to their help I was able to bring in my first sailfish which made this the fishing trip of a lifetime. We also brought in some snapper and tuna and Chris filleted them up on the dock and we had fresh tuna right there. What an incredible trip thanks to them.

After lots of research and having conversations with 5 different captains we decided on Captain Chris on Charisma. The time spent to find the right boat and crew was well worth it (see pictures). Captain Chris and his First Mate Sean, did an awesome job ensuring that our boys had a trip to remember. We caught many different species and Captain Chris knew just where to go to find them. Sean is incredible at this job and made sure that the boys knew what to do when the lines were hit. The boat was immaculate, comfortable and set-up well for sport fishing. I highly recommend Charisma for anyone wanting to create some great fishing memories!!!

This was a great experience from start to finish. We did a half day charter and caught our limit of Mahi Mahi with time to spare. The boat is super nice and well organized. Sean worked hard to keep the rods bated and in the water while Chris did awesome putting us on the fish. They are a great team and I would love to come back one day with the kids and put them on some fish.

Captain Chris and Mate Sean, did a great job helping us put a decent load of fish in the boat on a day that many other boats were struggling with. It was hot, bait and weeds were widely scattered We caught dolphin only 2-3, maybe 4 at a time but consistently put them in the box regularly all day long. This was my second time fishing on this boat, but won't be my last.

Captain Chris and Sean did great and will only get better as they age! LOL. Surprised that both were only in their late 20’s. They were excellent. Sean worked hard keeping us baited and fishing. While Captain Chris found the fish. Would recommend taking their Charter. Only complaint is slow communication, but might because out catching fish when waiting to hear from them. They know how to find the fish for sure. Went out two times. One day for dolphin (Mahi-mahi) and another for snapper and silver kings (aka Tarpon). Took a little time riding out to find a few different schools of dolphin, but when we did it was on. Had to keep caught dolphin in water so school would stay with the caught and not leave us. Did a rotation of the three of us. When all three had one would take one off then catch another and take another off. Had a barracuda go after one of my dolphin and that was a crazy fight. Dolphin about jumped in boat. Next trip was for tarpon and snapper. We had three tarpon on at once. Fun! It did seem like they kept letting my drag out to make me have to fight it longer. I tightened it down several times. Husband caught a couple of nurse sharks. He had fun manhandling them and couldn’t believe Captain Chris let him bring his tarpon on board who made a big mess on the deck! Sean helped hold it up! We guess they were around 80-100 lbs. Caught snapper in same spot, which was just at end of channel. Would have liked to have caught more snapper then messing with tarpon, but still had a good fishing trip :)

Been fishing with Captain Chris year after year. Him and his mate Sean are the two hardest working guys you’ll meet. They make sure you have an awesome experience and most importantly...CATCH FISH! Never a bad day on the Charisma! Would recommend to anyone wanting to fish down in the Keys!

Captain Chris and First Mate Sean are fantastic! Their boat is clean, they are professional, and even more importantly, they know how to fish, they will teach you how to fish, and they find the fish! We went the first half day for Mahi and caught a few of those along with a Mutton Snapper (delicious beyond words, BTW). We had so much fun we booked them again for an evening trip looking for Tarpon and shark. We caught a ginormous sting-ray, a 200+ pound nurse shark, a 150+ pound nurse shark, and a few fighting Tarpon. We fished so much we thought our arms were going to fall off. Fun, fun, fun. We go to Key Largo every year and we will definitely be booking another trip with this boat and crew.

This was our second trip with the Charisma. Both times, they made sure to fill the boat with fish and let everyone on board have a chance to catch some. If you just want to go after big trophy fish, they will do that too, but we preferred to catch whatever was biting. That could mean bottom fishing, or trolling with light tackle, or trolling with the big outriggers. We happened to be catching yellowjacks and yellowtail snappers. Everyone on our boat had a chance to reel in at last 2 or 3 (there were 5 of us). After that, we spent an hour or two trolling for sailfish, but didn't get any.

Once back at the dock, Chris (the captain) fileted all the catch and put it into bags for us to take home while we had a drink at the Pilot House restaurant. We had over 15 lbs. of fish and got 3 meals out of our catch!

Shawn, the first mate, works hard to catch fish. He sets the lines but walks you through reeling them in so you get to fight the fish yourself. He was busy all day changing out gear or cleaning the boat.

The crew is easy to joke around with and let you have fun. They don't interfere if you prefer a more quiet, relaxing day. We've enjoyed both our trips with them and would go back again. Glad to see they survived the hurricane and are back out fishing!
