It is a must dive spot when you are diving in the Florida Keys / Key Largo. Its big and will take several dives to do it completely. Has excellent swim throughs and is in very good shape. It can be a bit crowded, espcially when there are a number of boats and large groups on the site. However, it... More

This is a great dive for divers of all abilities. I would recommend less experienced divers to hire a divemaster to take them on the wreck because it is a little deep for novices, but I think that it could be enjoyable if properly planned.

I've dove the Spiegel 3x so far and every dive has been a new experience. You can stay relatively shallow, in the 70 - 80' range and still see a lot of cool stuff or you can drop all the way to the sand at about 130'. Whether you want to tool around the outside or do swimthroughs, there's plenty... More

One of the best dives in Key Largo, I love it, many things to do inside and outside, 100% recommend for recreational y technical divers in open circuit or closed circuit. If you dive in the Keys, this is one of the site you should go to dive. I have dive this site many times, and I will dive again.

On the list of places to dive, (Checked!) What a hugh wreck. It just seemed to keep going. I dove this for two days and didn't see a portion of this ship. Just terrific. The sea life is really taking ahold and taking off. I wad just more amazed on the size. When I come back it's back on the... More

I served on an LSD as a U.S. Marine. Very interesting to see one underwater. I explored it while getting my PADI wreck diver certification so I got to look inside - a real treat.

Amazing dive! We could dive 10 times and still not see it all. Be prepared for a little distance and some current as you get from the boat to the mooring ball. Viz was great the day that we were there.

My hubby enjoyed this dive with the Silent World dive operation. You should know that a local told me that as this is an unprotected area, there are often people fishing and he has known people getting tangled in fishing line, so take a knife!!! Due to the weather keeping people from diving quite a lot during this season, there... More

Huge Ship with lots to see and explore. You could easily do three or four dives on this wreck and not feel as though you have seen everything. In addition to the usual suspects, you can see baracuda and huge groupers.

I love this dive, I come down to Key Largo a couple of times a year and try to dive The Spiegel Grove every time. There is just something about it.
