This half-mile-long, crescent-shaped patch reef is an interesting dive site since it is highly developed and similar to those of most outer bank reefs in the Key Largo area.

We viewed the Grecian rocks during a tour with Pennecamp park! The rocks looked a bit worn from people stepping on them, so please try not to step on them because it damages the reef. The corals were bleached but I recommend this because each reef is unique in color and marine life!

Kids (11 &15) and I hopped on a boat at Pennekamp to go snorkeling. We ended up at Grecian Rocks and boy were we glad. It was pretty shallow so my 11 year old felt very comfortable. We got to see LOTS of fish! Barracudas, snappers, parrot fish and angel fish. The colors were AMAZING! Make sure you bring a... More

Shallow waters to see an array of fish species. You have to be very careful at low tide, because the reefs and etc are sticking out of the water. If you are in the area snorkeling, you must stop and visit this area.

We took the Dolphin out of John Pennekamp Park. The boat ride to the reefs is fairly quick. The snorkeling water time goes really quickly on the 2 1/2 hour tour. Some girls we met who took the tour the day before said it was plenty long, but I could have stayed longer. There are many different species of colorfish... More

This is one of three reefs we stopped at with Keys Diver, an excellent company with an awesome set-up and superb staff, especially Tim. I really enjoyed it here because the water was so clear, there was little or no current, there were no waves and because it was fairly shallow, visibility was great. I just might get hooked on... Went snorkeling for the first time in open water today. This place was very pretty with lots of small and medium sized fish and coral.

This reef was great. Water was clear, depth was very shallow. We saw stingrays, lobsters, barracuda and a nurse shark..There were also tons of Conch.

We took a snorkeling trip to the Grecian Rocks. My husband loves snorkeling and had brought his underwater camera. Nothing to really see - one turtle that's about it. A few little tiny barracudas and some coral. I went swimming off the boat and it was very choppy. They gave me a "noodle" to hold onto. Didn't feel it was... More

A beautiful place to go snorkeling. We were taken out by in a small group of only 4 by Quiescence Diving. Even with a reasonable amount of chop on our way out the water at Grecian Rocks was smooth and calm for a great snorkeling experience.

This is a shallow, 10 to 15 foot deep reef that is perfect for snorkeling. The abundant sea life and living reefs are spectacular. I recommend checking out the visibility for the day and suggest at least 20 foot to have good snorkeling conditions.
