This half-mile-long, crescent-shaped patch reef is an interesting dive site since it is highly developed and similar to those of most outer bank reefs in the Key Largo area.

We had a great time snorkeling this spot. The only downside is dodging moon jellyfish. The captain didn't seem too worried, said to just push on their caps to push them away. You have to constantly be alert of running into them. There are thousands in the water with you. Barracuda also. Other than those things, we loved watching the... More

good time - we did the single stop boat trip from J Pennecamp park, and they took us here because visibility was not as good elsewhere. our family of 5 was satisfied. 3 teen daughters went all over... wife and i saw some things then got tired after an hour, so went back and had a nice visit with boat... I have been to Cozumel, Riviera Maya & Christ of the Deep (also Key Largo). This site beats them all hands down. The coral was so varied & pristine. We were able to swim over & look into lower levels of it. There were also so many fish! We saw a turtle immediately after leaving the boat. My friend is... More

having rented a boat for the day, where to go, what to do. We decided on snorkeling at the Grecian Rocks which was an excellent choice. We found it quieter and less windy in the morning and therefore the water was clear. We were able to pull the boat up to designated moorings for boats which did fill up as the... More

Went with Key Divers on snorkel tour, and because of unfavorable conditions we didn't get to see the Christ of the Abyss statue. Not a big deal for us as we have seen it before, and really, the Grecian rocks were better anyways. Calmer waters, more fish. I saw two rays, and lots of barracudas in addition to the coral... More

So first off, don't snorkel in Key Largo in September. In fact, don't go there at all during September. The weather will be terrible, and there will be jellyfish (moon jellies.) However, thankfully we were able to get one day of snorkeling in on our trip and this was our favorite spot. We went here and Molasses Reef and this... More

Quite possibly the best place to take teenagers and beginning sorkelers as it is clear and beautiful. The variety of coral combined with fish activity is breathtaking. Nice and quiet after school starts in September. We took John Pennecamp extended afternoon tour and were very pleased.

Although it wouldn't have been a problem for just my husband and I, we had our three kids with us, which made dodging jellyfish far more challenging. My youngest, (eight) ended up with a sting (as did I). It stings enough to make you want to get out of the water. 😒

Large beautiful reef with lots of sea life. We saw lots of reef fish, corals, sea fans, and two barracuda. It is a little shallow in places so you have to be really careful not to harm the reef.

This is a beautiful reef. The reef itself comes up out of the water so it is easy to swim close the different wildlife. There are many varieties of colorful wildlife to see and there is an octopus out there that was fun to try to seek out.
