Tropic Water Sports is a place for people with a sense of adventure, a childlike wonder and a desire to make memories to share and last a lifetime. We rent Jet Skis, Clear Kayaks and Stand Up Paddleboards (SUPs) with snorkel gear included. Eco Tours & Water Activities daily! Come play in our pristine Caribbean water. We are located Oceanside at MM 94.5 beside Snappers Oceanfront Restaurant.

Great time clear kayaking!

This review is long overdue- three adults and our three daughters ages 6, 11, and 13 and it was a beautiful day kayaking in the clear kayaks. Sonny and Gwen were so accommodating and gave us outstanding service, and included cooler bags with cold water and treats for my daughter celebrating her birthday. I do recommend bringing fingerless gloves because my hands started to hurt from the friction on the bar of the paddle. The trail was fabulous- we will definitely be back!

Great experience! Nate from Wolfboro recommended we skip the day of our original reservation due to windy conditions. He rebooked us to the following day and we had a blast! I would highly recommend Tropic Water sports. The woman who managed the facility that next day was terrific!

Sonny and Tyler were 5 out of 5 stars before we even stepped foot on the property and it just got better from there. Sonny was beyond accommodating with our 4 hour jet ski reservation. Tyler got our machines set up and loaded with our water and added ice to keep them cold. He gave us free reign in the open water and then took ya to a great snorkel spot. From there he took us to the bay and showed ya some great sites including a trip into the mangroves that we never would’ve ventured into on our own. As we headed back to the dock, he took us to a shallow dive spot and let us try to catch a lobster (it was mini lobster season). We did not expect to have a guide but we could not have been happier to have Tyler along with us. The machines are in great shape and I can not recommend Tropic Water Sports enough!

Avoid these scam artists

Avoid this place. Have not and will not refund our security deposits when skis were returned as agreed, on time and damage free with zero issues. Extremely rude and very unprofessional employees. Contacted customer service when we noticed our security deposit hadn’t been refunded on our card. Representative was very rude and condescending. When researching this company online, don’t make the mistake I made reading the positive reviews. Click on the “lowest” reviews and see how this negative behavior from the staff is not a one time occurrence. This was the only negative experience we had on our entire trip the Key Largo. Everything else we did and every where else we went everyone was absolutely awesome. This was a family trip and would be one of our best trips ever had it not been for visiting this crooked company. What a disappointment.

Spectcular Nature Adventure

Perfect day, perfect experience. The clear bottom kayak was delightful. We travelled through the mangroves and then slid up to a small island where we watched tiny but spectacular little creatures from inches away do their thing in deep clear water through the clear kayak shell and over the side. Half inch hermit crabs, striped (zebra-like fish),l snails, coral anemones - literally at our fingertips. Kayaking allows you to get very close to pristine nature. Service and ease of renting was flawless. Simple operation from an uncomplicated easily accessible business.

Best Fun in Key Largo!

Robert took my girlfriend and myself as a walk-in rental without a booking and even took the time to test the spare jet-ski (the only one that wasn't being used) before letting us rent it for an hour. Stunning location, good pricing, WONDERFUL customer service (ROBERT). 11/10 would recommend.

Absolutely nothing included that showed on my receipt. Attendant also wanted to set me up for 1 hour when I paid $400 for (4) had to argue. Basically jet ski back and forth between 2 islands with no beach area . Super whack , disappointing, no manager available, nobody called me back

Best Customer Service in the Keys !

Our Experience was great !!! Customer service is a HUGE part of getting great reviews and Robert was extremely nice, helpful and just a great person! We rented Jet Skis for an hour and because ROBERT was so awesome my whole family wanted to came back the next day , and rent the clear Kayaks. It was so awesome , the fact that the rental place was right next to the hotel made it that much easier ! The service was over the top , there was extra towels, sun block , water you name it he had it and was willing to share.
When we come back to the keys we would love to come and book again!

This place was a blast. Renting and checking in was super easy and we had no problems. The water is beautiful and the jet skis along with paddle boarding went crazy. The instructor was very nice and friendly. The service was great definitely coming back!!!

Horrible customer service. Received Threats about leaving a bad review!

Booked and paid online, I show up and no one is here. Called 3 times no answer. Finally send an email and get a reply that they are closed and will issue a refund. Complete waste of time!

After leaving this review on Google, the owner calls and text me with threats to kick my ass! I am appalled.
