Great views, tons of activities, and no reservations required. From sucking up the sun, kayaking, sailing, cycling, mountain biking, yoga and having a picnic. Just enjoy the outdoors.

Only seconds away from the core, Key Biscayne is a treasure. An oasis. The rickenbacker is a lovely way to get there. There's a certain kind of ethereal "entrance" made through using a causeway. You're DEFINITELY leaving one place and arriving at another.

A must-see stop for photographers wanting to capture the beautiful Miami skyline. Best spot is underneath the west side of the bridge. Great views of the city and the port. Plenty of free parking. You might also get to see a pelican or a few locals relaxing and fishing. Hidden gem!

it is bridge !!! and only a bridge to a very expensive island. tolls are very high and collected one way. no cash only sunpass . only way to get toe Miami Seaquarium which is a good family day trip. the yacht club on this island and state park is nice to see.

Parking. A route as long or short as you want. Water views the entire distance. And... Bathrooms. Perfect for a runner, walker, families, solo. Only downside is some bicycles are on the walking path. There is a designated bicycle path so I don’t think they are following the rules. A bonus - saw manatees! Also lots of great beaches and Sea World, Vizcaya are close.

You have to travel on this bridge and pay toll fees if you want to see Key Biscayne. Tolls abound when in Florida--when using MAPS or other mapping programs ask that the route doesn't contain tolls and that will help. No way avoiding a toll to get to Key Biscayne unfortunately

There was, sadly, a tragic fatal accident Saturday night, and they closed the entire Causeway from 10 until 4 am. We were at a wedding at the Rusty Pelican, and decided to walk back to South Miami Avenue, where we were able to Uber home. 3 miles in uncomfortable, formal shoes was too much (though this 58 year old was proud to keep up with the Millennials), and the reward was the postcard-like view of neon Miami's skyline from the top of the bridge. It is a sigh worth seeing...

This bridge leads you down to some beautiful areas. It’s not the prettiest, it’s not the oldest but it has history

It is worth paying the $2.50 fee to go onto Key Biscayne just to see the view from the top of the bridge. You can walk, cycle, or drive over and the view of downtown Miami and the port of Miami with the cruise ships is spectacular; as you come over the bridge you will see the Rusty pelican restaurant on the left which used to be one of our favorite places until it was stripped of all it’s unique Florida history and made into just another restaurant! However I hear the food is good. Beautiful view and well worth doing!
