I have fished my entire life One of best one day trips ever Crew led by Captain Jimmy the best Son James and first mate Troy were unbelievable. They work extremely hard and are great with their clients Caught a dz tuna, some Kong’s, a huge bull shark, then capped off the day with 3 sails. My 2 oldest boys and myself each hooked a sail. What a day. The old saying you get what you pay for applies here I will be coming back

Setup an all-day solo trip out of Miami because with all the stuff going on in my life I DESERVE IT! Then felt guilty and asked 6 people who live in SoFL to join me and none of them could... So the SOLO trip was meant to be. Told Captain Jimmy that I have fished the Keys, Hawaii, Costa Rica for Marlin, Sailfish, Tuna on multiple trips, other people on the boat caught what I was looking for but I never hooked up on my turn or my designated rod, hence the solo trip. Well God and the Angels were with us on this trip. We started with a beautiful Purple, Red, Orange, Pink and Blue sunrise. We caught about 30 bait fish within 15 minutes on the rocks, and on the way to some spots that Captain Jimmy knows we trolled and caught our limit of 4 beautiful Kingfish. At the wreck around 300 feet deep we caught two 50 lb Amberjack and then a 40 lb, then a throwback red Grouper, a Trigger Fish, 2 Red Snapper. Then the next Amberjack we don't know what size it was because all we boated was the head. YEAH a large Shark took it for breakfast. And they say "Sharks aren't a problem!" Then within five minutes we got another 40 lb Amberjack. Oh by the way this was all before 8:45am. Then we decided to head out to the Gulf Stream, deeper water, to troll for a Marlin or Sailfish. The crew, Andres and Laurel, were great had all the tackle and outriggers set up in 10 minutes and we were fishing again. Over the next few hours looking for bird sign, floating seaweed or debris, with no bites on the outriggers, Laurel finally spotted something then saw 3 Mahi Mahi, we hooked one (which woke me up from my nap in the AC/cabin), and left it in the water then they whole ocean was ‘swimming’ in Dorado. Andres and Captain Jimmy were unhooking fish and baiting hooks with Laurel and I running the rods and we were pulling them in so fast that the deck was flopping. Fish, Rods, Bait were flying around the boat and all four of us were in a beautiful choreographed charter fishing dance looking like some sort of Harlem Globe Trotters fishing exhibition. So much commotion that Laurel swung a fish in and it went crazy and BOOM, fish tail in my face, while I was pulling in my fish. A small 3 foot Shark was around the transom of the boat and even with us trying to avoid catching it we caught it 4 times, yes the same shark. And they say “Shark’s aren’t a problem!” we released it each time. Well we caught our quota of 40 in about a hour, to tell the truth I don’t know how long it was because I was having so much fun I lost track of time. We decided to start heading back and took a break from fishing so the crew could clean up the boat, yes it was messy. I decided to finish my nap, remember my nap. Andres setup the trolling for Marlin and Sailfish for the ride back, you know just in case. Well, I was well into my second dream, as a race car driver, when I heard my engine was over revving, OH NO, I HAVE TO MAKE A PIT STOP!, so I jumped up. It was not my engine, it was the small tackle rod and reel directly off the stern. Andres handed it to me and I asked him what it was, he said “I don’t know but it is running, REEL, REEL, REEL.” So I started reeling and I was losing, so Captain Jimmy, said “He is taking line too fast!” and then he put the ‘L&H’ into ‘reverse rumble mode’ (I think he has a special button for that) and I was able to gain some line but he was still running and we still didn’t know what it was. Meanwhile my arm is about to fall off after 4 Amberjack, and I don’t know how many Mahi, not to be deterred I kept reeling. Then a surprise jump, Angels singing in my head ‘Aaaahhhaaa”, I see my Sailfish, there it is 200 yard astern. Still in ‘reverse rumble mode’ and waves splashing over the transom and hitting me in the face, while laughing my face off in sheer jubilation, not caring that my arm and shoulder are screaming for me to stop, I kept reeling. Well we got him to the boat and a measurement and a few pictures later of the beautiful 80 inch fish we released it. I asked Laurel later where we hooked it and she said “In the bill, the barb wasn’t even in, you’re lucky there was no slack or you would have lost it.” Well there were 2 times I saw line piled up in front of my rod tip , there was slack in the line, I couldn’t believe it. It just reminded me that God and the Angels were with us on this trip. On the ride back to Tampa I couldn’t stop smiling and kept saying “I can’t believe that just happened”. Then it hit me that having a great boat and an extremely experienced Captain and Crew make the job of God and the Angels easier. Or is it the other way around? Including the bait fish, crabs we netted around the boat to be used for possible bait and all the fish we caught, Laurel, Andres and I counted 16 species caught. If you exclude the bait fish and crabs it was 11 species caught, not a bad day at all. Boat Details: 46’ Hatteras Sport Fishing Yacht, Extremely well maintained, I didn’t believe that the boat was built last century, 1979, it looks like it is 10 years old. A/C Main Cabin (that works), Refrigerator (that works), plenty of napping space (I like naps) I will definitely be coming back and bringing my friends and my kids.

We had a Great day fishing w/Captain Jimmy, Laurel, Andres. They were awesome. Nothing was biting on the Reef so we headed out to Sea. Captain Jimmy knew where to go. Laurel & Andres were like a machine keeping all of the lines baited and taking fish off of our hooks. Multiple times all 6 of us had fish on all of our lines at the same time. What a Great Day! Thank You Captain Jimmy, Laurel & Andres!

Went out with my kids 6 & 4 and my parents in their 70s. We all had an equally great experience. The boat is large, comfortable and well equipped. The captain and crew are professionals that know how to catch fish. In our half day trip we hooked into kingfish, sailfish, barracuda and sharks. Highly recommend.
