Its a great beach to be with your family. It is clean, white sand and very safe. For visitors out of KB they will find BBQ zone, tables, WC and snack bars. Parking lot is very big for all types of vehicles. Visit our park.

Very soft and white sand. Well maintained beach. Very good environment. Surrounded by coconut trees. But lot of sea weed. Couldn't get into the water.

The beach further down closer to the light house is way better. It's much cleaner as far as the see weed. The water was much clearer further down also. I wanted to visit the lighthouse but it's was already closed. Couldn't complain as I was laying on the beach in front of the ocean.

I was raised in Miami and have wonderful memories of Crandon Park Beaches. In the early 90's I used to snorkel in Lot 1, once we saw a nurse shark and followed it around for a spell! So exciting! I remember the pretty palm trees and short sanded beach and longer to go back. I made a recent trip and... More

There are options: volley ball, tennis, boating, swimming, bicycle riding, and picnic benches with a place to cook your food on a charcoal grill. On weekends and holidays there is an entrance fee. There are lots of places to park. The boat launch area was closed due to heavy activity and customers waiting for the opportunity to launch their boats.... More

I've never rented a cabana at this beach, but I almost did today. I called to ask about the price. It's about $37 for the day to rent a cabana. Basically, it's a 10'×10' room with a shower. Doesn't come with chairs (that's where they lost me...didn't want to have to lug chairs). I read somewhere you do get a... More

We went to this beach our first full day in Miami and it was just right. It wasn't too crowded and the backdrop was beautiful. We love that there are palm trees are there to offer natural shade. We went to South Beach the next day - it was pretty but crowded and we had to rent an umbrella to... More

Usually Cranston beach is extremely quiet, specially during weekdays. It is a great beach to relax. Water is always calm, almost a swimming pool, so is great to swim. When the tide is low you can walk more than 200 meters from the shoreline. It is great to snorkeling and actitivities with kids. Crandon beach is a prime spot for... More
