We have lived in the area for ten years and it is still a joy to go on our daily run from Key Biscayne down to Crandon Beach Park. Reminds me of West Coast beaches with its wide sandy beach, pristine waters and gorgeous views. Take a long walk to the far end where the lighthouse is and you will... More

As much as we like the beach at SoBe sometimes it's nice to get away from the hustle and bustle. Two had decided to play a round of golf at Crandon ( golf is not a sport when buggies etc are used) so we decided to meet them afterwards. Crandon is a long, gently curving beach and when we arrived at... More

Its a great beach to be with your family. It is clean, white sand and very safe. For visitors out of KB they will find BBQ zone, tables, WC and snack bars. Parking lot is very big for all types of vehicles. Visit our park.

Very soft and white sand. Well maintained beach. Very good environment. Surrounded by coconut trees. But lot of sea weed. Couldn't get into the water.

The beach further down closer to the light house is way better. It's much cleaner as far as the see weed. The water was much clearer further down also. I wanted to visit the lighthouse but it's was already closed. Couldn't complain as I was laying on the beach in front of the ocean.

I was raised in Miami and have wonderful memories of Crandon Park Beaches. In the early 90's I used to snorkel in Lot 1, once we saw a nurse shark and followed it around for a spell! So exciting! I remember the pretty palm trees and short sanded beach and longer to go back. I made a recent trip and... More

There are options: volley ball, tennis, boating, swimming, bicycle riding, and picnic benches with a place to cook your food on a charcoal grill. On weekends and holidays there is an entrance fee. There are lots of places to park. The boat launch area was closed due to heavy activity and customers waiting for the opportunity to launch their boats.... More
