Even on a dreary day, this is a lovely beach...easy access and great parking. Lovely views. Worth a sightseeing stop. Great for bicyclists to meetup.

Not really a welcoming dog beach considering how small, unkempt, full of trash, and rocky the area is... then again, thats probably why they made it the only authorized dog beach. The only silver lining is that being on the Bay, the water is shallow...More

A neat little place for a beach, great view of the Miami skyline. No lifeguards so you are on your own there. But still worth a stop. Beautiful when you consider it is right beside the highway.

It was very convenient to be able to park the car near the water eliminating the usual long, hot walk to the water. We were on the north side of the Rickenbacker because we just ate lunch at Whiskey Joe's. On the north side you...More

During the summer we love coming here during the week days. The beach is not crowded. It is relaxing and peaceful. You can set up your beach gear near the water. The tide is so low you can actually sit in the water with your...More

There is a toll to cross the causeway, The drive over is pretty with excellent views of downtown Miami. There are plenty of places to stop and pull over once you are past the bridge.

Very convenient for parking your car close to the beach, the beach itself it's not the best. Sure, it's cheaper, as you only need to pay the causeway toll. Nice spot for sunset on the bay.

Bike trail crosses 7 miles of briges and causeways to Key Biscayne. Lovely area for all kinds of water activities. Park near Vizcuya or take metrorail to the Vizcuya station and walk or bike on the trail.
