This is a tour on an old trolley with bench seats. The tour has a driver who plays a narrative cd for the passengers to learn various landmarks. Well, it is a cd with zero pizazz and includes errors - which the narrator corrects as she speaks. Does this make sense? Why not rerecord the cd or provide drivers who... More

We always try to do the trolley anywhere we go , just to get an idea of what's the city is about and what it has to offer. This is just an 75-90 minute ride and does the old town area and goes to the main beach area and back.

Trolley tour a bit pricey at $20pp but provides a good background for the history of the area and the historic houses and sites that are difficult to search out alone.

The trolley tour, which leaves from the corner of Front Street and Centre Street everyday at 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm is a great way to see a lot of the history of the area. The driver/guide was both knowledgeable and entertaining. The tours last about 1-1/2 hours each. Public restrooms in the "comfort station" adjacent to the Amelia Island... More

We had the pleasure of taking a trolley tour in November. Mr. Reggie was our guide and he was so friendly and very informative about the area.It is a fabulous way to get the lay of the land and get some of the fascinating history. The homes are absolutely gorgeous! A must do when visiting the area!

The tour was ok, but guide seemed to only talk about Doctors homes. I wasn't too impressed with it. She drove very fast during the tour so I didn't even get pictures, I would not recommend this tour.

The tour was ok, but not extremely informative. The tour was not even an hour. If I would have paid $10 a person it would have been fine, but at $20 a person I felt a little let down.

Riding in an open trolley you can learn about the fascinating history of Fernandina. It is a living museum with lots of perfectly preserved and maintained Victorian houses.

Interesting with lots of information about the island. Wish we had gone earlier in our trip as we learned of several things we would have liked to have done but just ran out of time. The day we took the tour it was 102 degrees outside but the trolley was still comfortable. The tour guide was informative and answered any... More
