Good course on Amelia
Mar 2019
Long Point is one of the best courses on Amelia Island. It is usually in good shape, and recently the greens were fine. Some of the other interesting and it plays equally well for men and women. Be sure to take bugs spray as there are marshy areas.

MOST BEAUTIFUL SPOT IN FLORIDA
Oct 2018 • Friends
the Golf Course is beautiful..fun to play and is perfectly maintained. Plus...the homes in the Long Point Community are truly amazing. We spent a week at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation. So we had time to take a bike tour of the Long Point community.
The lush vegetation and Spanish Moss on the Live Oaks is something out of a story book. True to Southern tradition, the people are all so nice and welcoming. Can't wait to return...

Nice Course, Great Views and Good Food
Nov 2018 • Friends
Played Long Point. A well maintained, fun to play 18 holes which posesses enough tee boxes so as to allow enjoyment, however far you hit it.

The course mixes astonishing views of the marsh with holes along the ocean. The wildlife is abundant and a joy to watch as you proceed from hole to hole.

Following the round we had lunch and found it to be well prepared and abundant. If you have a chance, play this course, it’s memory will linger in your mind for quite some time.

A private course in good condition
Apr 2018 • Friends
Went to Amelia Island with 7 friends for a long golf weekend. This was the first of 4 courses we played and in the best condition. It is a private course but we still got to play it in the afternoon. Excellent staff and good restaurant. Lots of slopes and water traps. Saw 2 alligators during our round. 2 of the holes have water running through them and I would ask the starter for information. The also have GPS in the golf carts.

Superb golf course and staff, greens and fairways in excellent condition and tested my level of golf. Water hazards were situated where you had to play your golf shots instead of just hitting away. Greens were not easy to read because of the many unseen slopes.

Great Fazio Track
Aug 2016 • Couples
What a great find. Played the course in mid-September. The course is in excellent shape. Fazio built a beautiful and challenging course in the middle of the marsh lands. A lot of unique holes. Greens were perfect and fast. All the staff in the pro shop were excellent. Barry was very helpful in setting up our tee times. Actually played the course two days in a row. It is a private course so you will need a member or your home club pro to reach out to their pro shop. Did not have any bug problems when we played. Again the course was in excellent shape, especially compared to the Omni Oak Marsh course which in poor shape. Had lunch in the clubhouse after our round. Excellent food, service, and pricing.

Long Point Golf Course is Coastal Golf at its Best!
May 2015 • Friends
I had not played Long Point in many years and had forgotten what a delightful experience it was. It is in excellent condition the staff from greens keepers, wait persons, club pro staff and everyone concerned was very efficient and helpful. It is one of the best club experiences I have enjoyed in a long time. Don't go there if you are expecting to lower your handicap. The course plays very fair but very hard. Greens were good, fairways well maintained and the scenery is spectacular. It is a private club for members and guest at Amelia Plantation.

A bit tough but a great course. Well taken care of and staff is super friendly. Just a tip there is no beer cart that drives around.

Well Kept Course

A wonderful well designed and maintained course. If you get a chance to play I highly recommend it. It is a difficult course especially the back nine but you cannot beat the views.

Fantastic grounds with great instruction
Jul 2014 • Solo
I visited the Long Point Golf Club while taking a lesson at OMNI Plantation last month. This is a beautiful course with incredibly lush grounds and lovely, manicured holes. I never get to see magnificent trees draped with Spanish moss back home, so this was quite the experience.

By the way, the instruction here was also superb. I took a private lesson for 45 minutes with Dave, one of their instructors, and he was great to work with. He instantly honed in on the flaws of my pitching/chipping game, and we worked to get rid of them. I only wish I had more time to spend there...maybe I wouldn't be such a lousy golfer!

This is a wonderful course and facility, and I highly recommend it.
