The Oaks Marsh provided a much better experience than the neighboring Ocean Links Course. Better looks from the tees, more room to be wrong, but still challenging thanks to Pete Dye. The course was in fairly good shape, and even though you're not on the ocean, the Marsh was really peaceful and serene. There's a lot of holes that border... More

This is the ideal course to represent Amelia Island, with lots of Marsh views and plenty of oaks lining the beautiful fairways. With sand and water challenges, we found this course still well playable for the casual golfer. The staff was super nice to newcomers and discussed a very reasonable annual membership available to all. We had a wonderful day... More

This course was recommended to me and maybe the time the person played it it was in good condition but it's Not currently in good condition. Patchy fairways on almost every hole, tees are pretty much consistently bad, some have weeds growing, the greens and bunkers were nice but greens were very slow. Because of that it's WAY overpriced. I've... More

Please allow me the opportunity to extend our sincere apology for not meeting and/or exceeding your expectations. Unlike our neighboring course, our Oak Marsh course has a variation of grasses that thrive in the warmer climates. During the opposing seasons, they may suffer due to freezing temperatures. As a result, with the number of weather impact days we received this... More

Traveled down with my buddies, we were not sure which course to play...well let me tell you if you get to play one course play this one. Nice lay out, great challenge, staff was great. Stopped into clubhouse after for a snack. Happy hours deals...a plus, staff once again super friendly...what more can I say play this course.

Played 2 times. 1st round skipped the 9th hole because one group was holding up everything. 2nd round quit on the 11th tee. Again due to slow play. To their credit staff made every attempt to make it right with me afterwards. Never returned. In the end all I wanted was a round of golf in a reasonable amount of... More

Played here in July. Once again staff was awesome. Treated like royalty. Had both dinner and lunch and the food was great and at an extremely reasonable price. Everyone was outgoing and caring. Course in great shape. Last 2 holes are a bear but overall experience was awesome. Booked through golf now.

Well maintained and outstanding layout. Challenging yet fair course with fast greens with a good roll. A bit pricy but a good value since the course is so well maintained. Staff was attentive from the time I arrived (met me at my car to unload my clubs) until I finished up (gave my clubs and decent cleaning and took them... More

I play this course periodically. It dates from the 70's, and though it has received a few moderate facelifts, it really needs more work. The setting is beautiful, with many holes right on the marsh. But the sand traps have gray dirt/sand, with rocks in it, ridiculous for a report course that nominally charges a premium. Three stars is the... More
