You know you are somewhere special when you find the staff have unpacked your gold bag and put your bags ready on the buggy, which also had two bags of practice balls. The staff at the club were wonderful, very helpful, and very friendly. But most golfers go for the course - it is an interesting course, in beautiful setting.... More

Staff is very well trained. Food is good. We ordered salads for lunch. The views are lovely.Tuesday buffet night is offered with membership. All drinks are offered at 50% off during Tuesday Happy Hour . It is adequate for a quick meal. My husband enjoys playing the beautiful golf course. We enjoy the Summer Beach pool during the our with... More

The building itself is beautiful and the service wonderful but the views of the golf and grounds with moss hanging from huge oak trees are outstanding. The food is fair. Once many years, I paid $15 in advance for luncheon buffet. To my surprise cold cuts with American cheese and white bread was serve with potato chips in a salad... More

We have enjoyed this course each time we have been to Amelia the last several years. It is not the cheapest but is in the best shape on the island by far. The greens roll very well and the layout is well done. The staff has always been great to us also. I recommend finding a way to play it... More

Course is the best maintained on the island but don't think it is up to the elite level of the fees charged. Resort style layout with multiple tees to accommodate any skill level. Greens were fast and in very good shape. Played from the Black tees and really only needed driver on a few holes. If I had it to... More

Private but can play if staying at the Ritz. Sort of looks like it is part of the hotel due to its location, but it's not. Nice casual dining with great golf course view. Great service, friendly staff. Great for private parties especially if weather is nice and can use outdoor patio and lawn. Have been to party and wedding... More

By far the best maintained course on the island. I play here all the times. Sand traps need some real improvement. Many are lacking d=sand, and many have inferior sand. Still, the best course overall on Amelia.

First time and without a doubt not my last time playing this course. From the moment we arrived, we were treated as a valued guest. We had some great laughs with the pro before we headed to the range. The range is well maintained. The course is incredibly manicured and designed...There a couple of holes on the front side that... We played this course three times while we were staying at the Ritz-Carlton. It was just a quick 30 second walk from the lobby to the pro shop, which was really nice. The people working in the shop were great - both personable and helpful. It was rather warm so we played at 2:30pm or later - getting great twilight... More

Great course but a expensive, but that is to be expected since it is part of the Ritz-Carlton hotel. The course was in great shape even with the hot weather.
