Minor League Baseball was fun but the food, not so good

My wife and I took three boys (10, 13, and 15) to see the local minor league teams play during a 5:00 p.m. start. The stadium itself is very nice and the seating is comfortable... read more

My wife and I took three boys (10, 13, and 15) to see the local minor league teams play during a 5:00 p.m. start. The stadium itself is very nice and the seating is comfortable with a good view of the field. Fortunately, the sun was behind us since it was a hot afternoon (Florida in August, what do you... More

First time at the stadium during spring training game with friends. We had a great time. Seating in the first row on the first base side. Promotions were exciting including flying t-shirts. Exciting game between Cardinals vs. Marlins. Food was good...sausage and peppers, powdered dough and beers. Tickets pretty reasonable, however, one concern I have is the food costs are... More

Roger Dean Stadium is the Spring Training home of the St Louis Cardinals and the class A level home during the summer. What a beautiful setting and neighborhood. If you get a chance to watch a game here enjoy the opportunity.

Have been attending games there for 5 years and have watched the ticket prices increase and the parking decrease. Didn't go this past season. Tickets cost more than tickets cost at the major league stadium I frequent at home. Beer and food prices are ultra expensive and if your lucky you will get to see a few regular players along... Had a great time at Roger Dean. Prices for food were typical for a ballpark. Tickets for seats are much less expensive than going to an MLB game. If you don't like the heat but want really good seats, I suggest sitting in the second tier behind homeplate (the higher up the better) where you'll be in the shade part... More

This quiet "village within a village" --it is within the town of Jupiter, FL--has its own Roger Dean Stadium which hosts spring training for the Miami Marlins and the St. Louis Cardinals. It holds less than 7000 people but you won't find a more passionate group of baseball fans. It has all the features you would want to find at... More

This is a fun place to watch spring training baseball. About 7000 seating capacity. An intimate ballpark. Tickets and food are expensive. Great way to spend a sunny afternoon in south Florida.

We've been to Roger Dean multiple times and have always found it to be a great family friendly ballpark and a fun venue for watching a game. This night, a major local company was sponsoring and -- somehow -- the concessions were completely ill prepared for the volume of guests. Lines at the concessions were extremely long, no identification of... More

All seats are close enough to the field, so you can't go wrong with any of them. Spring training games for the Cardinals typically sell out, but you can usually get tickets for the Marlins. There are always tickets for minor league games. The stadium sometimes has deals for a family four pack, which includes entrance and food and drink... More

Listen, you pay for what you get. We went on $1 night in July. We had a nice time. For the price we paid, we saw a ball game, had a couple of beers and hot dogs on the cheap. There were families there and all had a good time. Sad to not see the stands filled a little more... More
