The River Center is a fun place to spend an hour in Jupiter. You learn about the Loxahatchee river and the wildlife in the river. Visit at 2pm on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday to see them feed all the fish. It is fun and the kids can help.

A most interesting afternoon or morning. You will learn a lot about the ecology and the problems of keeping it healthy.

Terrific two hours in Jupiter location. Great place to take out of town guests, take about an hour, quick side activity while in town. Couple this with the Jupiter Light house or a half day paddle board tour. The right price!!

We stopped in on a trip up to Jupiter. We stayed here for about an hour. They have some small aquarium tanks, including a touch tank. There is an informational shark wall. The center had teen volunteers (adults too) who were really nice, and really engaged my almost 6 yr old daughter. She really enjoyed the touch tank, while my... More

The center has lots of marine animals that kids can observe up close. The fish tanks are beautiful and a marsh display shows the interaction between wildlife and plants. There is a great gift shop and informed staff on hand to answer questions. There is lots of space outside to walk and enjoy the Burt Reynolds Park area.

Touch tanks, aquariums and lots of information about the area make this a great pace to visit. Its also free, but donations are encouraged to help maintain the center. The offer special events and activities throughout the year for locals.

Good for everyone to see the critters who live in the River and the shoreline near by. Excellent presentations and touch tank.

The center is well maintained, but it is easy to cover quickly. There are some specimen drawers under some of the love displays. The touch tank had a variety of sea urchins, a sea cucumber, conch and sea star. There is a small butterfly garden behind the building, and a playground in the park.

This place is very informative! There are a couple of aquariums with different fish and turtles, who live in the waters from river to ocean. The exhibit is very interactive and would be interesting for kids as well as for adults. You can even touch the sea urchin!!! That is so exciting! They organize different events for public and work... More

Okay, was asked to repost, so here it is. Its a Palm Beach County maintained park with a canoe rental center. My two boys and I rented a canoe and brought a picnic. Great adventure for the day. Great for first timers. Get a true Florida feeling just off of I95. Only problem was getting off canoe for picnic, there... More
