This attraction is a very nice stop for a family with young children and a nice way to spend an hour or two for couples who are staying nearby and don’t need another afternoon at the beach. I think that the zoo aspect of the sanctuary is what most people are exposed to and I wish it would be possible to see more of the work being done to save abandoned and injured animals. The volunteers are all wonderful people and believe in what they are doing to help. perhaps when the move to new quarters in a year or two we will see a more complete picture of the work being done.

Love this place, I have been many times. Because it is outdoors I would recommend bringing water, a hat, and applying sunscreen before your adventure! Busch wildlife runs completely on donations, and is free to enter. Enclosures for the rescue animal residents are always improving, and they will gladly take in any injured or sick animals you find in the area. Would recommend for kids and adults alike, a wonderful experience for the whole family!

This place is a hidden gem! It runs completely on donations and what they do is amazing. I felt safe as everyone wore masks. The staff presents shows throughout the day and it's educational for homeschooled children. They have a great variety of animals and information on each one, I saw so many creatures up close. I really enjoyed my experience, it takes about an hour or so to complete the self guided tour.

We just recently visited this place and I would not recommend going by any means. The staff we’re completely rude right from the start. They acted as if any questions we had were an inconvenience. They yelled at my 2 year old multiple times because she was making animal sounds and it was inappropriate. I will never go here again.

We went during the rain and still had a nice time. The staff were friendly and it was really cool to see all the animals. Love that they accept animals and do everything they can to rehab and release them. The ones that are unable to live in the wild are kept on property.

A great place to meet up for an afternoon visiting a sanctuary that house Florida native rehabilitated animals that have sustained injuries preventing them from being released. These pictures are just a few of the inhabitants.

At 3 pm we went to the amphitheater to hear young sanctuary students discuss an animal that lives here.

Its donation based entry. Lots of great work goes on here. They have a nice gift shop...think Christmas or birthday gifts.

Masks 😷 required.

So much of South Florida is paved over, it’s easy to forget that all kinds of animals are native to the area. This animal sanctuary had many birds, reptiles, and other small animals. They also have two large enclosures for bears and panthers. My friend and I saw several school groups but never felt overwhelmed with other people. It would be nice if more staff could be available to answer questions. The sanctuary has a cute gift shop.

It's a gem in Jupiter Florida. Plan at least a couple hours to walk the whole place. Possibly call ahead for showings. Has an information/gift store. Restrooms are available and clean.
Most of the animals are rescued, but very well taken care of. Exhibits are clean and the staff does a great job maintaining them. Staff very friendly and willing to answer questions. It's FREE.
I recommend you visit and share your experience.

An enchanted tropical forest of Florida wildlife. Winding wood chip trails take you past deer, panthers, bears, bobcats, foxes and many other animals and birds. We have been taking trips through the preserve for over twenty years! Always amazed!

Finally got to see a Florida Panther! Also happened to be in the area when one of the volunteers was returning a Great Horned Owl to it's enclosure. She stopped and talked with us for a few minutes while we were able to view him up close - so grateful to get this experience. Would stop by here if you have some time and want to see some amazing wildlife...did I mention the Bald Eagles we saw...awesome place!
