Such an amazing place, great to bring friends and family to. Lots and lots of convenient picnic tables and chickee huts and places to kayak. Great kayaking and canoeing spots, loads of good trails whether you're biking, walking, or riding horses. Beautiful animals are everywhere. I can almost guarantee you will see a peacock, deer, or turkey. I go there... More

I have gone for a great bike ride in Riverside with friends, lots of birds and wildlife along the way depending on the time you go. It's just a beautiful Florida spot to enjoy. Highly recommend it.

The family and I love to take our bikes out here to go riding. We usually bring a picnic lunch as well. It is very quiet and a fun place to explore.

This park is so beautiful and you feel miles away from any city or pollution. We ride our bikes here and it's just so peaceful and tranquil. Photo taking is also a must and have seen many beautiful birds, rabbits and turkey. Highly recommended for beautiful bike rides!

I've been coming to this park for years. There are some really nice trails and picnic spots. But the best part is by far the river where you can rent kayaks or canoes. If you want to do the long trip (all the way to Jonathan Dickinson park) make sure to call ahead and make reservations at least 1-2 weeks... More

We brought our bikes and had a fabulous day this past week. We saw deer (and new fawns), owls, and a host of birds.....trails everywhere. It is a fabulous park! They have more trails than I can mention but you can walk or bike rider for a half day and not see everything.

We visited Riverbend Park to go kayaking and really enjoyed the journey. The trip we took was only about a two hour round trip, but we saw wild turkeys, peacocks, turtles and even a very small rapid. The waterway was through old cypress hammocks, so it was cool and shady for most of the trip. The park also has a... More

Miles of hiking and biking trails. Cycle for hours without riding the same path. Relics from days past throughout, old tractors, wood mill, farmstead and markers showing locations of battles from the Florida Indian wars.

We bring our own canoe and rent 1 or 2 kayaks for teenagers and friends for $30 or canoes are $40 for the day. The loxahatchee river is one best outdoor excursions for family's w teens looking for something fun. Adventurous and gives arms a workout. Go right or west to go to the 2nd dam. Altho we dont swim...
