This is a challenging review to write because three of the people we worked with with were excellent, one was just ok, and one was a real PITA. We went out to do Blue Heron twice with Mateo and Brian and they were both amazing dealing with four kids and mostly new divers. They were very patient and helpful and we really enjoyed them.

On the less positive side, the young lady at the shop when we arrived could not bring herself to smile at us to save her life so we kind of started out with a negative feeling and the man who was there when we tried to drop off our gear was just an ass. We were in a hurry and he informed us that we would need to wait to drop off our rental gear until the dive master who took us out arrived at the shop which would be 15 to 20 min.(He never got there and we were there for almost 30 min) I told him we could not wait and he said fine but we would have to clean everything. I have been on over 500 dives but they were all on dive boats so perhaps this is a normal thing when you just rent gear and go out with a dive master from the shop but in my experience, the rental fee covers that kind of thing. He basically said my kids (the renters) had to clean everything but gave no directions and completely ignored my children who were trying to do what he said. Only When we started to leave did he check the gear and tell them that they did not do it correctly and then showed them what he expected and told them to re-do it. Something that should have take a few minutes took almost half and hour and he acted like we were a huge bother to him. We won't rent from them again but we loved the dive masters and would defiantly like to go out with them again! My guess is that this one guy is just a bad apple and the first girl was tired as it was super early in the morning. All the other reviews on TA are excellent and I am sure they are generally really great.

I have dove with this company 4-5 times in the last 6 months, and each experience has been very good. Captain Kenny was friendly and flexible with where customers wanted to go. Zach and Kayla did a phenomenal job explaining the dive sites and generally working to be as helpful as possible. Zach even took and shared some video of my first pole-spearing of lionfish, which is a great memory. I highly recommend them. You should be aware there is a sign on the boat that says, "Standard Tip" is $10 a tank/person, which may put off some people.

I have been diving for a long time and used numerous dive operations all over the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Without any hesitation or question, Scuba Works is the best dive operation I have ever utilized time and time again!! Professional, friendly, great value, safety first, accommodating, enthusiastic and makes sure your dive experience is as good as it could be. I could list many more things that they do right. If you dive in the Jupiter area, Scuba Works is a must! I will be back soon!! Dive .... Dive ...Dive!!!

First of all congratulations to the new owners and seems like a beautiful and smooth transition! Been diving 12 years, Divemaster, and been in Florida for six while diving primarily Jupiter. Everybody can get in a rut and personally, I've been doing the same thing for quite a while. Going over to Scubaworks has been a breath of fresh air the last three times I've dove with them.

The store is well stocked, the attitude of the staff is spectacular and the boat DIVOCEAN is spacious and enjoyable. Captain Kenny is professional and you have great confidence in him when you leave the dock. I've enjoyed Brandon, Lexi, Kayla, and Finney thus far as deck and Divemasters. I went out on a couple hunting trips in the last month on Thursdays but the new owners are now allowing hunting on regular dives as well. The crew has to work extra hard dropping people 300 yards apart and allowing hunting on better broken bottom and reefs but this works out very well. Just yesterday I got a bunch of spiny's, two good size slippers, and a keeper full of lionfish on Mac & Cheese that I'd never been to before! The hunters brought up a couple of impressive hogfish to boot. One hero, who shall remain nameless, drilled a big hog top to bottom and made it look like it was a carousel horse on a merry-go-round.

Great pickups, highly professional and even hustling back and forth between tourists on the reef and hunters? This crew does a great job of spotting all their divers and picking them up quickly. A very safe boat and professional operation. I wish them well and look forward to diving on my favorite boat and now Scubaworks on a rotating basis.

We did a open water scuba course/reactivate course with ScubaWorks this summer. There were 3 new divers ages 10, 12 and 13 and me, mom, doing a reactivate. Due to Covid we did the course and swimming pool day at my house which was perfect. It was just the kids, me and the instructor, Michael, who was great with the kids. Beach dives were challenged by weather but ScubaWorks just added an additional day of diving (and rental gear) at no charge. It was a great experience.

The reason we went with this charter company was that they offered a Groupon for a 2 tank dive. $50 for two tanks is a great deal. They work out of a private marina that has the entrance in front of the Square Grouper. This is a restaurant bar on the water. We unloaded our gear/tanks at the entrance and they have carts to take our gear to the boat. Lex was the deck hand, she was quite friendly and got us on board after a little paperwork. We were the first to arrive and had first pick of seats. We chose the starboard side under cover. We set up our gear while other divers arrived. One party of three had a dive guide provided by Scuba Works and another group was an instructor with students. Our Dive Master was Hannah. She does a great job, I know her from another dive company. We got in the water and away we went with the current that was pretty fast that morning on a reef called Scarface. Lots of fish, Barracudas, reef sharks, and a Goliath Grouper. Our second dive after a one hour surface interval was on a reef called Lighthouse. This was a great dive. So many big Green sea turtles. Some were napping under ledges others were in the open lettings us cruise right past them. A great dive!! Temp was 75 degrees on the bottom around 70 feet. Visibility was 40 to 50 feet. They have two dive ladders at the stern. Take off yours fins and pass them up. Lots of cold water, soft drinks and snacks are available. They did briefings from the Captain, Deck hand, Lex, and Dive Master, Hannah that covered emergencies, boat operations, and the dive sites. I'm going to go out with them again.

Literally one of the most welcoming, friendly and helpful businesses we've ever dealt with in any situation ever. Even the employees who weren't directly trying to help us jumped in wherever they saw us - whether it be unloading the car, carrying tanks, taking care of gear - just impressive.

It was a true pleasure to meet such great people!

Thank you!

I have been diving about twenty years and have experienced many dive operators in various locations in Florida, Hawaii, Bonaire and throughout the Caribbean. Scuba Works is certainly among the best. From the way the phone is answered, questions asked and certifications verified, to the way I was greeted, taking my equipment to the boat, the safety briefing and dive itself, everything was first class. Every team member seems genuinely happy to welcome guests and ensure their safety. They are there to assist if needed, but do not hover over the experienced divers. Five Stars!

Yesterday was another awesome dive trip with Scuba Works! Captain Tony and Zach took great care of us up top and Kayla was her usual outstanding dive guide. The whole team makes diving in Jupiter such a joy, whether you're a regular customer or a visitor to the area, and their commitment to safety makes it all the better. I can't recommend them highly enough if you're visiting or looking to start scuba diving.

Everyone at Scuba Works clearly loves diving and wants everyone that they meet to love it too. Whether you’re looking to learn more, buy new gear, or take a diving trip, you owe it to yourself to visit Scuba Works!

My husband and I did the rescue certification course with Fini this past weekend and highly recommend her and this dive shop for any scuba training! Fini took care of us and is such a caring, passionate, and skilled teacher. She made it fun, but we also left feeling like we learned everything and then some. Look forward to diving with this team again soon!
