The course is now in better shape than in a long time. Good greens and overseeded fairways. The bunker and waste bunkers are in good shape. Very nice restaurant and nice staff everywhere. Don’t miss this experience.

Each hole has it's challenges and trouble can be easily found. Very interesting layout, environment and terrain. Green fees are very reasonable, but after the rain and cart path only, a slowish round. Course conditions were not superb, but the greens were in good shape. A fun outing.

I really enjoyed this course. If you stray, don’t just worry about the gators , worry about the number of lost balls, too! It’s important to hit them straight.

Keep this great experience in mind for what it is - a challenge.

It is long enough from the blue tees for a low double digit handicapper and and there is enough trouble even for one who hits the ball fairly strait.

Played this course a few times with different outcomes. Played in Feb with friends and a Member of the course. The carts are equipped with GPS but we were told they're not working. That the new owner cancelled the contract. No yardage markers on the course except for a few 100 yard slabs in some fairways. No biggie because we had a member who guided us as we went along. I ended up shooting an 80. Fairways were tight and got used to the roll of the greens. Next time we return we're told the GPS are still not working and the same story of the owner cancelling the contract. With no markers on the course, carry over marshes, not knowing certain holes to lay up on and no member to guide us this time this course is a different beast. Greens and fairways were dry but manageable. But with no markers it can be a big guessing game. This time I shot a 94. Eagle Marsh advertises on their website that their CARTS HAVE GPS. So over the 3 months that I've played there this hasn't been corrected ?. So take it off the website. And if you are not going to replace the GPS, go out and buy some stakes and paint them Red, White and Blue and put them on the fairway cut at 100.150 & 200 yds for some kind of yardage markings. I've worked in the golf course business for the last 25 years, and play to a 14 handicap and can honestly say, this is the ONLY golf course I have ever seen ( and I've been playing for 45 years ) that had no yardage markings. And having mentioned this to the cart attendant when he solicited my experience of the day he said he has heard this complaint often. Visit to the bar after was pleasant with good food & drinks. But if I call to reserve a tee time again and i'm told there's no markings, I won't be back. You guys got a good product but there's lots of other options out there.

We were a group of 12 golfers on a Sunday outing. The course was in good shape for this time of year and presents a good challenge for any level of golfer. Those who roll vs. get their ball up in the air might wish to pass on this course as one has to carry 30-40 yards of marsh occasionally. If you like snakes, go into the bush for your lost balls; otherwise, drop a new one down and save yourself an ambulance ride! The pro shop staff were very pleaant as was "Lisa" our trusty post-round beverage pourer. All in all another wonderful day in paradise!

I was told the course was tricked up and very tight. My personal opinion is the course is wide enough but, it will take you 3 or 4 times playing here to learn where you need to put the ball. All areas off the mowed course is a lost ball!! Greens were really quick (11 or 12 on the stimp). Everyone I talked to was very friendly and polite, often reminding me to leave the driver in the bag. New carts and a nice driving range. I was surprised there was no beverage cart out on the course.

Eagles Marsh is a scenic and well maintained golf course, with lots of challenge for the experienced golfer. The staff is friendly and course maintenance is obviously ongoing. However, this is not a course for high handicappers or beginners. If you cannot hit a fairly straight drive and carry 150 yards (from the white tees, 120 from the red tees), go somewhere else - please! Save yourself the frustration and 10-15 lost balls.

Golf here today. Very interesting and payable course, and a bargain at $43 for golf and lunch and beverage voucher. Will return.

Eagle Marsh is one of the worst courses I have ever played
The greens were in terrible shape.
The staff were not friendly and had an attitude with the guests
Don't waist your money
There are much better courses to play in Martin county for less money

I had heard a lot of negative comments about Eagle Marsh Golf Club over the years, so wasn't really expecting to be favourably impressed. However, even though I played it after a few rainy days, it was a decent golf course. Not one that I would like to play on a regular basis, but interesting to play. It would take a few times playing it, I'm sure, to master how to play all the marsh carries. The greens were good. The clubhouse has undergone a renovation, and the members seem generally happy with the new look, although they feel it lacks the warmth of the previous look.
