Ive been coming here for 3 years now and i always leave feeling like a new person. Very professional and clean. You can walk in or make an appointment. The longest ive ever waited for a walk in was 10 minutes.

We were looking for a reflexology foot massage in Jacksonville and after reading through reviews decided to try Tangs. It is not your typical massage place, It's a large room with approx 20 chairs. The lights are dimmed, with soothing music and quiet for the most part, I found it very relaxing. My husband and I received a 15 min Head/Shoulders/Arm massage and 45 reflexology foot/leg massage, the cost was $68 for both of us, which is very reasonable, plus we gave a tip.
You do not remove your clothes, so I suggest shorts and a tank top. They also massage your head and face, which felt wonderful, so for women you may want minimal makeup. Next time I will probably wait to wash my hair until after I get home as it was a bit oily. If you're not comfortable with it tell them up front to avoid those areas, but I recommend it.
We can't wait to go back. Next time we are going for the 90 minute treatment. Check out their website for prices and menu. Oh and they are located in a strip mall, behind Salt Life/Mellow Mushroom? Their sign does not say Tangs, only reflexology massage, or something to that effect.

I went there on a Sunday evening after a long work week. I only wanted a foot massage! Lee is the best! His hands are magic! He massages every inch of each foot and was very detailed!!!

My niece & I went to Tang's and had a 30 minute foot massage. The ambiance is quite different with the group room, but very relaxing and zen like. The men who did our treatments never spoke to us or asked about any sensitivities we might have or how much pressure we liked. I stopped my guy 3 times to tell him lighter pressure. Honestly, we were both relieved when our time was up, as it was borderline painful during the entire 30 minutes!! They try to incorporate cracking our spines and an arm massage. Since I have an issue from a hand injury, I stopped him from that part of the massage. The next day, I (literally!) had bruising on both the tops of both feet and my forearms. We were so disappointed that we went here and definitely DO NOT recommend, unless you like this type of rough, strong massage style.

I went with a group of 10 girls to celebrate a birthday. We all did a 90 minute combo which included the head, neck, shoulders, hands and feet. We all talked back together and the massage therapist were lined up at the chairs waiting for us. It was hot back there even though they had the floor fans on and they weren't able to make it any colder back there so be sure to dress for that. You do leave all of your clothes on for the massage so be sure to dress for that. It was luck of the draw as to who you had massage you, although you can request someone if there is someone in particular that you want. I get massages on a regular bases so like deep tissue and the massage therapist I got was not able to go deep enough or did not understand what I was asking. All in all it was a good experience and something different to do with a bunch of friends.

Tangs is absolutely amazing. I have recently started going because I am pregnant and have swollen feet. I have had the short foot only treatment for 30 min and also the long 90 min treatment that includes back, neck, shoulders, face and arms. I recommend both. I feel incredible when I leave and completely relaxed. I highly recommend this for anyone who is interested in a great massage and also for any pregnant women suffering from edema. If the pressure is too hard, just tell you guy to go lighter and he will. I'm going back tomorrow and can't wait. Jax Beach is lucky to have this place at the beach so you don't have a long drive into town.

stopped in sat during rainy afternoon to get feet rubbed, while walk-ins are welcome made appts for 100 pm sun. Just understand lang can be a problem especially in translating what services you desire. Alot of pointing usually solves the prob. I got the B= is 45 feet 15 head/neck/shoulders...since on short time they have tendency to rush and use too much pressure but you can get them to back off on pressure. I enjoyed as did my wife, son thought it hurt more than helped..you make the call. would go again when in town

Go here at least weekly...love the upper body massage with the foot massage. To my knowledge this is the only dedicated foot massage location in Jacksonville.

I just got back from Thailand and was looking for an authentic oriental massage place for a good price. This place is the best so far that I have found. Very professional staff who are good at what they do. They give many different types of massages and surely you will find one that suits your needs.
