AWESOME!

This is THE best dog park one could want. It's a private dog park so you do have to pay to get in. It is well worth the$10 entry. One can also get a membership which will save you money. But again it's so worth the price. My border collie adores this park. She swims in the pond. Catches her ball from her Chuckit!. The park even supplies toys if you don't bring your own. They even have a separate agility area. Lots of space for her to run. Then, when she's finished getting dirty I take her inside for a bath. Hot water and soap. This is an extra cost but it's well worth the cost. I live in Ocala and wish I could get there more often because I would have another membership. Bring your shot records with you. I adore this place!!!!!! I'm headed back tomorrow........

Great for small and large dogs!!

Super woof woof park!! So glad to have this place. Separated for small and big dogs, lots of shade and squirrels for the pups to chase. Cooling off pods, rinse stations, and indoor bathing facilities. Fees are worth it, and vaccination paperwork required which is great for the safety of all our fur babies. No children under the age of 14 and office is closed on Mondays, however if your a member you have access 7 days a week. Tennis balls and various toys available as well as bags for your pets deposits 😁😉 Highly recommended!!

Love this park! Best one in Central Florida!
Jan 2018 • Solo
We have a dog park in Ocala, but we drive over to this one and not only pay the gas to drive there but pay the entrance fee to get inside. It's THAT worth it. The dog park in Ocala is a free range, anyone can come and go type of park. Dogs are not checked for vaccines and if they're spayed or neutered. AT BARK CENTRAL - your dog is screened, all of the shot records are required and you obtain a membership. The membership can be monthly or yearly. It's 10.00 a visit and totally worth it. The park is HUGE! It's SHADED all over the place, which is a huge plus living in Florida. There is a pond for the dogs to play in. That's so hard to find anywhere, and our dog loves the water. The best part, as soon as the dog is done playing ... getting dirty and wet, when you leave there is a rinse off and wash station - ALONG with a vacuum to dry them! This park is fantastic. I can take my dog there, knowing that 1) all dogs have had their vaccinations .. 2) that it's a membership, so not just anyone can walk in ... 3) I can clean my dog when we leave so he isn't sandy and muddy when he gets in the truck. I really can't say enough about this place. The 10.00 fee may be off-putting, but you're paying for a wonderful area and upkeep for your dog to play safely with other animals. They are also good about not allowing aggressive dogs staying. If a dog becomes aggressive, you will be asked to leave. We've witnessed it. We really enjoy it and will continue taking our dog. Please note, any children have to be 14 years or older to enter the main park. There is a large dog area and a small dog area. There is also an agility area for you to play with your dog, one on one and do agility training. This place is great. Really give it a chance.

It's a dog park!
Dec 2017 • Solo
We have been members of Bark Central since it first opened and our dogs are much happier and calmer after being able to be dogs. They run, sniff, make human and dog friends, romp with all breeds and have the freedom to be off leash. Because it's private park, we do not have to deal with owners who are not responsible for the health and safety of their dogs. Yes there is a monthly fee, but it is so worth it. The ponds are dog safe, even though the water may look green, that is caused by the not toxic and safe water treatment. Picture of one of our dogs after an afternoon at the dog park

Our dog loves Bark Central!
Jul 2017 • Couples
Our dog LOVES going to Bark Central. The negative reviews must be people who do not understand the business. Bark Central is a park (with lots of acreage and a swimming pool for the dogs) to socialize with others dogs. They do make certain that the dogs are current with their shots and are non-aggressive. You will also find a collection of very nice people who are "dog-people" who take care of their pets. That is the point of charging money-- it is a private park. They also do a great job on our dog's nails.

Really nice spot for your dogs to enjoy!
Mar 2016 • Family
We were in the area with our Basenji Hounds and looking for a place that was safe for our dogs to be off leash. We found this Bark Central Dog Park on google and decided to give it a try. We arrived and were told this was a members only dog park, but not to worry, we could join for the day for $15 as long as we had vaccination records, which we did not have. The nice lady behind the desk called our vet for verification on both our dogs, gave our dogs a compatibility test with her dog, and we paid $15 for entry to the small dog section which is around 7 acres of fenced in park with lots of trees, a pond and some obstacles.
Our dogs loved the park and they ran and they ran with joy as they were out of the car and off leash for the first time in a day or two. Several other dogs were there and they all played together with out incident. The pond was in need of a cleaning and that is the only thing that we found that we could be critical off. One other item is children under 14 years old are not permitted in the dog areas. Overall we all enjoyed this dog park and recommend this location if you are in the area with your canine companions!

Ted dreams of Bark Central
Mar 2016 • Family
Ted's favorite place with the exception of bath tubs which he only tolerates. The nail trimming is really challenging his patience tho.
But the field is WOW! The pond is great for water dogs but that too is merely tolerated by Ted. His favorite thing to do is explore the vast expanse or play tag with some buddies. Either way he's a HAPPY DOG! he just wishes he could avoid the bath after his play date.
