About
We rent all sizes of boats, bikes, scooters, paddleboards and kayaks at reasonable prices. Rent for an hour or all day. Everything you'll need is provided for an adventure you'll never forget. Imagine a family adventure while enjoying the warm breezes, sparkling water and the beautiful Florida sun while you cruise on beautiful Boca Ciega Bay or the Gulf of Mexico. If it’s FUN You’re After, We Have it! Everything you’ll need on your adventure is provided. Visit Caladesi State Park, Honeymoon Island & John’s Pass, to name a few. See dolphins and pass the luxurious mansions along the intracoastal. Amazing beach scooter trips from Clearwater to Ft. DeSoto and more. Navigate your way on a single or double kayak while you enjoy the sun. From our docks, we are one hour from John’s Pass where you can sight more dolphins than anywhere else. Along the way you will cruise through The Narrows, a bird sanctuary for Bald Eagles, Blue Herons, and the beautiful pink Rosetta Spoonbills. Take some more time and continue north to explore Caladesi Island, voted #1 beach in America. On the island you can enjoy the day picnicking, searching for shells, swimming the turquoise waters or just relaxing on the beach. The Hurricane deck boats can head out of Clearwater Pass into the Gulf of Mexico and anchor off Caladesi Island, Honeymoon Island and Three Rookers, where the water is clear enough to snorkel. Cruise down the coast enjoying the open sea and try spotting the dolphins jumping. You can head back into the bay through John’s Pass and stop at your choice of over a dozen plus restaurants for a great meal on the water. And as you come back in, Island Marine’s courteous staff will be there to help you dock the boat. If you’re thinking maybe you’ll get lost, not to worry, our boats have Garmin GPS, just follow the line! We also have other pre-planned routes and fun destinations on detailed maps built in. All boats have GPS trackers giving us details of your position so you and your family are safe. Would you like to play on the water without a motor? Try paddleboarding (the latest craze) or single or double kayaking. The intracoastal waterways are wide and safe enough you'll be able to enjoy yourself motoring around on paddle power. You'll see birds and fish of all kinds, even dolphins, plus homes of the rich and famous. And great way for the family to enjoy the day and we provide everything you'll need and then some. Would you prefer to stay on the ground? Try a breezy trip on a bike or a scooter. Go North towards Clearwater beach where you'll find incredible dining and unique shops. Go South towards John's pass and you'll find the same, plus entertainment. Go for a few hours or spend the day. The speed limit on Gulf Blvd is limited to 30 mph and there's a dedicated bike lane so it's a very safe place to ride up and down with the Gulf of Mexico within a glance to either side, depending on which direction you're going. We hope to see you soon on your next trip to sunny Florida.

We love Captain Brian. How my family out for a birthday party on the water. Captain Brian was a perfect addition to our family affair. He made us laugh, was knowledgeable and friendly, gave us a your of famous people’s houses as well as shows us some dolphins. Captain Brian loves his job and you can tell. The staff was friendly, the music was great, and we celebrated on a secret island that was basically had to ourselves. Can’t wait to come back. We live in Denver and have already booked our next trip and Island Marine Rentals will have our business 100%

We had the opportunity to do two rentals in May with this company. The first week we had 13 of us out on the pontoon boat. We all had a blast with Captain "no doubt" Neil and 1st mate Austin. They did an awesome job making sure we were all taken care of. Drinks for the adults and dolpin sightings for the grand children. Nice lunch stop as well and a few minutes to enjoy a lovely sand bar.
The second week we had a great trip with 6 friends taking in all the sights and CNDN's knowledge of the Clearwater area. He made sure we saw the wildlife, had a great lunch at Frenchies and visited Jeff's "one tree pee" Island. A big thank you to the staff, Neil, Austin, & Josh for putting this all together and making our VACA a great one... See you next year!

3rd time renting a boat with Island Marine and the service never disappoints. Very friendly and helpful. Boats are well maintained. This time we hired a 19ft Hurricane and went to shell island. They helped us navigate back through millionaires loop (lots of nice houses and boats) would always recommend and will definitely rent again.

Chartered a pontoon with our family of 14. Captain Chris and Neil were awesome. Shoing off dolphins as they were spotted (though the manatee remained illusive). Brought us to a great spot to hang out. They got us drinks, set everything up, and were so accomodating. Made for a great 4 hour trip!

Our family of four took a boat south to hang out and fish near John’s Pass. My 12-year-old son loves fishing and caught 12+ fish. He said it was the best trip ever! The guys that work here are super helpful!! Looking forward to going again.

Neil and all the Island Marine Rental crew are so extremely nice and professional! Neil guided us on the perfect 4 hr boat trip to Caladesi Island, which was perfect for my kinds 12 and 10 to my mother law who is in her upper 70’s. The trip was awesome and the pontoon was perfect for us!

We rented a boat today from IMR with no reservation, but it was a weekday. They were very great there, accommodating, and helped us know where to go and what to do. The boats are equipped with a GPS system so you can choose which destinations you want, and they have routes pre-programmed into the GPS which are very easy to follow. Our boat also had a bluetooth stereo so you can play your own tunes thru your phone. I would definitely rent from here again if we return (which is more than likely). We found a great beach house in the area we rented, just down the road from IMR. Thanks guys for a great family adventure in the sun and on the water!

We rented a pontoon boat from Neil at Island Marine Rentals during our vacation in Clearwater Beach and it was beyond our expectations! We had a party of 10 that included 6 kids (ages 3 to 14) and Island Marine was helpful in everyway! When we showed up we were immediately greeted by a boat hand that unloaded our entire car and wheeled it to our boat. We went inside and were greeted with another friendly smile and hello and filled out all of the paperwork etc.. Once on the boat we were given very detailed information on the boat and operating it. It was very thorough and very helpful. We set off on our journey heading North to see the beautiful scenery of Caladessi Island and three Ruckers Island which is a barren natural island perfect for shelling and exploring! We stopped at a great Fish Taco Restaurant that Neil back at Island Marine had recommended. It was awesome to pull right up to a dock at the restaurant and hop off for lunch. We made it to Ruckers Island and were enjoying our trip when all of a sudden we realized that the tide had started going out and we needed to push back or risk being beached. Well, unfortunately, we ended up being beached on a deserted island and had to call back to Island Maine to let them know, that we needed help:) Neil was awesome and told us it was no problem and they would be out to help us as soon as they could. We sat and waited patiently enjoying the beauty of the island and witnessing the most beautiful sunset! Neil and his Dad showed up and we were rescued:) We again were greeted with friendly smiles, and warm hellos and immediately we all felt at ease. We felt awful that we had to inconvenience Neil and his Dad and have them come out after their long day working. We felt really bad for his Dad because he had to stay with our beached boat until the tide came back in and he could unbeach the boat. That ended up being a long time--he returned back to the marina at 3:15 am:( Neil returned us to the marina at 9:30 and after a long day of exploring the beautiful waters of the area we were happy to on dry land and feed the kids! Neil never once seemed put out or annoyed with us, and instead made us feel like we were out on the boat for a really nice evening cruise with a friend. He even called his wife and asked her to have the bathrooms opened for us and our loading carts at the dock so we could unload quickly and use the facilities. We really appreciated his laid back attitude and friendly professional demeanor. We can't recommend Island Marine enough and even with out going above and beyond they were 5 star. I wish we could give them 10 stars!

We rented a 19' Hurricane deck boat for the second time and had a great experience.
We saw about 12 dolphins and a Sea turtle in our short trip up to clearwater beach and back.
It cost about $37 in gas for this trip.
They gave us another card for 1 free hr boat rental. This is a fantastic deal.
Behind the counter guy is friendly ,knowledgeable and accomodating.
Great place to rent a boat!!

We mad reservations yesterday for a 10AM departure. We were told to arrive 1/2 hour ahead of time for a checkout video and a tour of the boat. We rented a 22 foot pontoon boat and everything worked as expected. All safety gear was available for 12 people, even though we were only a party of 5. We were met at the car by a staff member and a cart to carry all of our stuff from the car to the boat. When we were finished our cruise, they met us at the dock with a cart to carry our stuff back to the car. They gave us a briefing of where we could go along the inter-coastal waterway.. Everyone were pleased and impressed with the professionalism.
