Lots to see and do!!

Weather was nice and the presentations were very interesting and informative. Loved watching the manatees and the herons flying to their nests. This is a must do.

We adopted Lorilei, one of the resident manatees, for Christmas with the plan to visit her this year. It just so happened that our best opportunity to visit happened during peak manatee season. We arrived at the Visitor Center first thing and caught the first boat ride over - we did not have to wait. Our guide was very funny... More

Stopped here for a few hours to see manatees and found so much more! A boat ride along the river is included in the low admission price. We saw alligators, turtles and several birds and ducks. The ranger gave interesting facts and antidotes about the river and wildlife. Once at the main area, we had a very pleasant walk along... More

Enjoyed our morning at the park. Volunteers were very helpful and knowledgable. Saw wildlife on the pontoon boat tour. Animals seemed very well cared for.

Great Wildlife park a natural setting. Plan on spending a day there. So many animals both local and foreign to the area. Beautiful park for just strolling thru with natural settings for the animals. From the Hippo to the Flamingos never tire from visiting this Wildlife Park.

A former wildlife park, now run as a state park with four resident manatees all year round. They are captive because they are either too old to live in the wild or they were injured by speedboats. Amazing to see these beautiful creatures up close. There are loads of other animals to see, all native Floridian except for the hippo... More
