My family had an awesome day fishing for Tarpon with Captain Matt! We landed 3 monster Tarpon fighting each fish for about an hour before getting them up to the boat and lost several others. I highly recommend Captain Matt to anyone that wants to catch a Tarpon!!

Captain Matt is a fantastic fishing guide. During my tarpon trip the fish were not biting well. Other guides were going without getting their clients on fish, but we consistently caught fish. It seemed that we caught more fish than anyone around us. Captain Matt has a large, comfortable boat. He has fantastic equipment and some of the best fishing... More

My wife and I were down for a week visiting family and chartered Matt for day of tarpon fishing after a tip from a friend. What a fantastic experience and great day on the water! It started out shoving off from Matt's dock at dark thirty...very convenient and quick to get to the fishing grounds. His equipment is top of... More

I just returned from my first tarpon fishing trip with Capt. Matt. I fished snook with him a few months prior to this trip. This dude knows his stuff. I didn't know how difficult tarpon fishing actually is, but Matt makes it look easy. He's very knowledgeable and professional, but most importantly, he catches fish. The bite was a little... More

Matt put us on more tarpon than I ever thought I would see in a lifetime. Hooked up on the fly my first day but lost the battle. Great experience as Matt was patient with our inexperience and we got better as the week progressed. If there is a greater fish than tarpon on a fly rod or any tackle... More

I took each of my twin sons out with Matt on their own special day! Wow did Capt. Matt deliver! Lots of fish all day long, my boys and I loved it! I had some of those special parent moments with each and watched them patiently reel in fish after fish and the smiles that accompanied each fish will be... More

I've been chartering captains in Florida for over 25 years... on both coasts as well as the keys. I have been fishing with Matt for over 20 years. Bar none... He is the best guide I've ever used in Florida. His professionalism, knowledge of fishing, and the quality of all of his equipment and boat are equaled only by his... More

I've been fishing with Matt for years, and he is simply the best. If planning a fishing trip in the area, book with Matt. I've done a dozen or more charters with Matt over the years, he is both a fantastic fisherman, and a great guy. We always have great conversations, he has been great with my kids, and I... More
