Don’t do it. I booked a few months ahead and explained I was flying in for a surprise fishing vacation for my husband. When I called the week of to confirm, it went straight to voicemail. I called from another phone and Josh answered and confirmed we were good for 8am, please arrive 30 mins early and texted me the address. At 730am We arrived and called as there was no one at the boat. He asked me to give him a minute, hung up and at 8am when I called it went straight to voicemail. Many other similar complaints. Not even the professionalism to let you know he’s cancelling. Just ghosts and blocks you. Seems like a kid with a boat and no work ethic. So - if you want to be sure to have a trip, try another captain. I suggest Marlin my Darlin (who found us another provider even though they were booked themselves) or Tacohookedup.com who fit us in after a long day and gave us a great fishing experience.

Hate writing bad reviews but...this was not good. After initial discussion we called and texted for a couple of weeks leading up to trip and finally received a response the day before our scheduled trip. Captain barely spoke. A 6 hour trip lasted barely 5 hours. 1st mate (Ariel) worked hard but even he and the Captain seemed out of synch on strategy and approach. Went "shark fishing" with no chum line. Advertise large live bait tanks....empty. Advertise free parking....not true. Also, be aware that travel time from dock is at least 90 minutes (round trip). Bottom line = we caught a few bait fish but certainly there are better options available in this charter rich area.

Both of the helpers (Josh and Justin) were amazing, the fishing was great and they both were so nice and helpful. I would defiantly go again!!! The boat was also very nice! We caught a 6ft hammerhead and 4 fish thanks to these two!!

Captain Josh runs a tight boat. His departure was punctual and both he and his mate, Alex did a fantastic job of providing an enjoyable, fish catching day. This was only the third time I've been deep sea fishing and the first time in forty years, and my wife and kids have never been. The Chasin Finz is a large (53') Hattaras fishing boat that can accommodate 6 fishermen. We ended up with 8 fish so a good time was had for all. Captain Josh was willing to extend our 4 hour charter, but as my wife was struggling with sea sickness, we stayed out only 4 hours. The boat is plenty large enough to be very comfortable for a 1/2 day, and equally comfortable for a couple of days. We had to pay for parking and from their mooring, it took about 45 minutes to get the first hook in the water.
