The Visitor's Center was very nice, and the trails were good for some exercise, but we didn't find it very scenic. The observation tower was closed for repairs, so maybe if it was open we would have liked the place better.

Only thing to see were mangroves. Boat tour was mangroves from the other side. That view cost $5 per person. Guide did point out a bird. Yes. Just one. That we could have seen anywhere.

Interesting story behind this very accessible nature center/park that you will learn at the visitor center. Nice place for a walk on the boards thru the mangroves. A plus is the lookout tower has an elevator. This is a no cost attraction.

Except for an unfriendly worker in one of the exhibit halls, this is a great little park for exploring local flora and fauna. We did not take the nature boat tours, but I will bet that would be a great experience. The observation tower is...More
