I love this place! I live very close, and still love to visit this park often. You forget that you are in an urban area and get to explore at your own pace and relax. Great place to take the family for a slow-paced adventure.

The education center is nice and the boardwalk and tower are outstanding. Not too much to see as far as animals, mostly wading birds. But the trails are nice to walk and you can also rent canoes and paddle around.

Captain Al was great for the $5 nature boat tour! He really knows his stuff. The view from the top of the observation tower is nice--can see the ocean and mangroves, etc.

Friendly staff! When we arrived, we passed by a staff member who was gave us a warm welcome. Walking further into the park we ran into a gentleman who said "Would you like to take a boat ride?" We said sure because we had never been there before and we though that it would be a good idea to start... More

Anne Kolb Nature Center is absolutely wonderful! You can stroll over the mangroves on the protected walkway and see a variety crabs, fish, and birds. At the end of the walkway, you will end up in a little gazebo over a beautiful lake. It's a great place to read a book! You can take an elevator ride to the top of... More

A nice place to visit, yet not much to do if no event planned. They do boat tours, but not every day. What I loved about them, is the Sea Turtles and Their Babies program. This is a unique experience for the whole family to remember - see the rescued babies being released at night to the ocean!

i have been there before i love this place its just that kind the lonely to me especially if you gonna follow the long path inside the Forrest no one can see you cuz there are not many people in the area, so it would be better if you take couple of friends with you not alone.

My wife and I visited late on a Tuesday afternoon and the center was very quiet. Maybe too quiet as I would have liked to ask a few questions but there really wasn't anyone in the exhibition hall, employee or volunteer, that I could see, but it wasn't a big deal. The exhibition hall is interesting and informative, if not... More
