My wife and I visited late on a Tuesday afternoon and the center was very quiet. Maybe too quiet as I would have liked to ask a few questions but there really wasn't anyone in the exhibition hall, employee or volunteer, that I could see, but it wasn't a big deal. The exhibition hall is interesting and informative, if not... More

walked through this nature area recently with some friends. being out in nature is a good thing if the weather cooperates. the center is well laid out with many paths to wander thru. they have observation towers that you can climb up on and see great vistas of the surrounding marsh areas.

My girl and I went one weekend and we loved it. Be ready to exert energy! I am talking about kayaking! They have mangroves and a few different water paths to travel. The current was pretty strong when we went and boy did we use muscle. We got lost and just started taking our own route and ended up in... More

Very reasonable rates ($5 per adult, $3 for kids) to had a 1/2 hour boat tour. The tower provides amazing views and allows great pictures of the estuary.

Anne Kolb Nature Center is a great place for a 2 or 3 hours visit. It's pretty accessible and the trails are super easy to make. If you need a quick nature contact, that's a good place to go.

I loved the walkways.a great place to wind down with benches with shade to take a break and enjoy the view. No charge to walk the grounds is amazing in today's money driven world. The fee too see the exhibits in an air conditioned building is worth it just to cool off. We ended up donating a little over our... More

Yes i went today to the Anne Kolb Nature Park with my daughter, the day was sunny and the sky clean . You can see the beautiful green leaves of the red mangroves, it is a bridge who brings you in the middle of the groves with a tower to observe the panorama. Really cool place and free at east... We went on the boat tour during our first vacation together, loved hearing the history and dynamic of Florida's mangroves and watching & seeing all of the wild life. Would definitely recommend it to anyone!

We stopped at Anne Kolb Nature Center while driving back from Hollywood Beach. We took the boat tour through the mangroves and walked the Lake Observation Trail with a trip up the Observation Tower. The tower provided a great of the area. Along the trail and on the boat trip, we observed all sorts of wildlife.
