Airboat youth duck hunt

My son and I won a raffle for an airboat youth duck hunt with JP. We met up with him at the boat ramp and he cut some extra brush from around the ramp to help hide the boat and we were off. Once we found our spot he placed the decoys and we began to get set up with the boat. I’ve never hunted with someone who put more attention to detail in brushing in the boat. It really made a difference as it didn’t seem that the ducks ever saw the boat. My 12 year old son shot nearly 2 boxes of shells and knocked down a few birds but unfortunately we were unable to recover them even after circling the area several times in the boat. JP made the day a lot of fun for us and it was awesome hearing about all of the other trips he does from frogging to fishing and iguana hunting. I would not hesitate to recommend JP for anyone looking to experience the outdoor adventures he offers I believe he will go the extra mile to make sure you have fun. I know we did!

i HAD SO MUCH FUN ON THAT HUNT !!! You and your son were fantastic company and really got to witness the intensity in which I hunt. We got straight covered up that morning with some heavy flights of Bluewings and Ringers. I will never forget the amazing 50 yrd shot your son did on that ringer. Stay in touch as I will definitely be doing this giveaway drawing for different events. Capt. JP

Iguana Hunt and Fishing

Had 2 great days on the water with Capt. JP. One day of hunting Iguana and another fishing in the Everglades. JP is very knowledgeable and treated us like family. He went above and beyond on our trip, sharing his insight and techniques. Nonstop action both days. We caught a mess of fighting Oscars and he told us about a local restaurant that would cook them for us. They were some of the best eating ever. My son and I had a terrific time and made some awesome memories. We will definitely be back again.
I have been on hunting trips in several states, Canadian provinces and Africa. Capt. JP is a professional and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a quality hunting or fishing trip. You won't be disappointed.

We booked JP outfitters for a peacock bass fishing trip and an iguana trip and both days were a blast . He put us on both with no issues . We caught 7 different species of fish on Thursday and got 18 large iguanas on Friday. JP is very knowable about his business and very well equipped to make a trip of a lifetime. I cooked some of our iguana on the traeger and it is absolutely delicious. I will definitely be a very satisfied returning customer. Thank you for filling a few different fishing and hunting species off of my bucket list .

Bagged birds on opening day!

JP took a group of us out for opening day Teal. He organized 2 boats and somehow managed to get us all on the water in place before daylight! While our shooting needed some help, he put us in the spot to be successful. He wasn't lying about the Woodies being out in full force also. He really knew the area and put in a huge effort to help us bag some birds. Great experience overall! Highly recommend him for hunting, and I can only imagine how fun it would be to go frogging and bass fishing with him also! Thumbs up!!!!

I 'm glad the birds were flying in that insane heat. That was the hottest opener I can recall. You guys missed some but who doesn't ? Duck hunting is much more challenging than most people realize. Very fun trip and plenty to look at. I think half the fun is setting decoys , blinding out, waiting for the sunrise and listening for those first shots.Thankyou for being a valued customer. Memorable Teal and Wood duck Opener

Can't say enough good things about JP and his whole operation. He organized what can only described as an epic early season duck hunt, managing to seamless coordinate 2 airboats and 3 groups of hunters over a day that lasted from 3 am to 9 pm. He also delivered on the birds, putting us right on the wood ducks. Will absolutely be booking again.

It was a challenge to be sure. I always love the setup. Trying to get everything in place before the sun cracks and those ducks start moving. You did great downing some birds in extremely hot conditions. I'll keep you up to speed on what I'm seeing out there for second phase. Capt. JP

One might ask what is an Iguana hunt in Florida with JP Outfitters like? We arrived a little early to find our Capt. Jason Peters waiting for us in the water by the docks. It’s the little things that make the biggest difference. I noticed his boat was sparkling clean and everything had it’s place. He welcomed us right away as we walked over by name. Once in the boat he went over all the safety instructions and how important that was for all. Jason’s knowledge and experience was beyond valuable to us newbies. He was freely providing us with how Iguana’s act throughout the day, and how to humanly harvest them. The damage iguanas cause, and why the reduction this population of invasive species needs to happen. Jason’s enthusiasm for each and every one of our harvests kept us going all day long. As a women you sometime don’t get the credit one deserves as being intense, ethical, and passionate about hunting. Jason treated us not as a client, but part of his hunting team. As a mom you get to a point in life where you love watching your children harvest wild game. Today was no different with my daughter putting the smack on 21 of the 24 taken. I can’t say enough amazing things about JP and his Outfitting abilities. I have been on a handful of guided hunts within my lifetime, and he just raised the bar so high I don’t know if anyone can come close to that. Just a truly amazing experience which made my Mother/daughter hunt all the more memorable. He totally exceeded our every expectation. I guess his reward is having to put up with us on another scheduled hunt in the months to come. We thank God for the blessings which were bestowed upon us during this day. JP may God Bless you and your family always for being the wonderful person you are. Thank You for this Memorable day. Anyone looking for a down to earth guys who really cares about the world around him and you as an individual should give JP a call and schedule one of his many trips.

Great Outings with the Girls!

Had a blast (sorry for the pun, but just had to) with Jason and some fellow ladies from ADC-Florida Chapter on Friday afternoon! Jason was very professional starting with a safety briefing followed by a demonstration on the proper use / loading of the air rifles. We even got the opportunity to use a blow gun. Learned how much our waterways need cleaning and how invasive iguanas have become in South Florida. Highly recommend Jason for your company team building outings - they would talk about it for months!!!

Peacocks and Knife Fish

JP was super friendly and provided a great day on the water chasing peacocks, largemouth, and clown knife fish. I've never really used ultra-light equipment, but JP had us fishing like pros! It was a ball. JP filled the day with stories of hunting & fishing & life in Florida. It was a great day on the water. Thanks!

A great day on the water with really nice quality fish. I think everyone was hooked on ultralight gear after that. Amazing how large of a fish can be taken with light tackle if you play them out. That monster softshell turtle was proof of that. LOL !!! I hope to see you again to try any of a multitude of different trips we offer. Capt. JP

Iguana hunt

Where do I start? Captain JP's ability to put us on some absolute monster iguanas was second to none. He is a book of knowledge about all the animals and can allow you to shoot and or catch any of them. My son and I had an amazing trip and captain JP made it such a fun day! Highly Highly recommended.

UNBELIEVABLE MARKSMANSHIP !!! Both you and your son are possibly the best shots I've ever seen. It's a whole new world shooting freehand rifle off of a boat. I'd say you pretty much mastered it. My son and I went on three great trips with JP. He put us on some monster clown knife fish, peacock bass, and large mouth bass. We also did frogging and iguana hunting. Shooting iguanas out of trees from the boat was a blast! JP knows his stuff, puts you on the game, and treats you right. A trip (or several) with JP is on our list for every south Florida trip.

I've said it before....You have to be the coolest mom out there !!! Awesome that you expose your son to the outdoors as much as you do. He really gets into it with a focus rarely seen in most adults.
