Wonderful spot to watch the sunset!!!
Sep 2021
This was our first spot to watch the western sunset when we were in the Tarpon Springs area and it had a beautiful view of the sunset. I would recommend that one should go to a spot that is less filled with vegetation when looking west as it will enhance the view of the sunset.

Play time in the beach sand
Mar 2021
Had fun playing in the sand and building castles etc. Tiny waves from boaters. Fun floating around in the swimming area. Bbq with beach view. Easy to launch kayaks.

Busy Boat Ramp
May 2020
Launched our boat here as it has great access to the Anclote flats for quality inshore fishing (trout, Spanish mackerel, occasional reds and snook..). The ramp has multiple well maintained launch lanes, while the parking area is huge and low cost (need to get a permit from the automated machine which can be a little fussy at times).
Only issue is with folks who aren't used to launching where there is strong currents on incoming and outgoing tides. Can be difficult.

Swim. Boat. Eat. Watch the sunset.
Aug 2020
Beautiful little park, with a beach and boat ramp, right off of Anclote Road and Baillies Bluff Road. Tonight we came for the sunset. We watched a heron waiting for handouts from fishermen on either side of it. As we watched the sun set, we saw a jet skier come in as well as a boat full of young people who looked as if they’d been out for the day. We saw families swimming in the beach area.

There are bathrooms, changing rooms, lots of picnic tables and benches, and parking is plentiful for single cars and cars with boat trailers. There is also a lightning detector.

People with dogs walked the park. There does not seem to be a parking or entrance fee. Nice!

Amazing place to relax.
Aug 2020
Beautiful, free park, where you can fish, swim and have picnics. We found a nice shady spot where we could fish and cool off. Spent the entire day there and it was so peaceful. Everyone we saw was friendly. Love watching the boats and jet skis go byll

Nice Park with a Boat Launch
Apr 2020
Nice little park with a roped off swimming area where the river opens up into the Gulf. Very big boat launch area. Can put in 5 at a time. Weekends get crazy and parking is tight especially if you've got a bigger truck and longer trailer. Not much room to try to swing in unless there are two open spots side by side. Have to pay $5 to park for a 24 hour period.

Huge boat ramp, free, and lots of parking!!
Mar 2020
We launched our 22 foot boat from this location and it was very easy and free! Would highly recommend. The current was a bit strong, but otherwise excellent location!

A great place to go and relax
Jan 2020
We went several times to this nice little park. Something to do for everyone, and at a relaxed pace. A great park for children to play. Covered shelters for picnics. a small but nice beach for playing and swimming. And an excellent boat launch. No charge for anything except the boat launch. Spend a few hours or the whole day.

Tranquility.
Aug 2019 • Couples
Tranquility. Saw one baby shark, at least a 12'dolphin and a manatee all in one day. Super Friendly Employees make it nice (thank you). Our favorite are the squirrels!
