Quiet lifeguard governed beach. Flags advise you of any dangers. Clean. Easy walk to Golden Beach or north to Hollywood Beach. Family friendly. Parking available for a fee at North Beach Park. Nice playground with volley ball court, bocce court and shaded tables for playing cards or dominoes. Snack bar too

Small parking lot, but good place to be picked up or dropped off so you're not standing on the street. Toilet facilities close at 5:00 pm. Lots of sargasum sea weed when I visited. Beautiful clear, warm water just past that. NOT a gentle wading slope into the water. High rise condos provide option of shade from baking sun after about 2:00pm in July. Clean sand.

Very tall buildings along a narrow beach. The sand is off white and soft. There was a working shower. Inside parking $4.00 hr in nearby lot. No facilities to be seen outside of what's offered by nearby condos and hotels.

Hallandale Beach is near Miami Beach and was a big surprise. We were there on our way to Fort Lauderdale and it ended up being one of the most beautiful beaches between Miami Beach and Palm Beach. I totally recommend it.

We've spent our vacation at Hallandale Beach, Florida from Feb.20 to March 1. The Hallandale Beach is not too far from Fort Lauderdale International airport. If you rent a car in FLL be sure that you need to use 2 shuttles to get to car rental companies, which take some time. It's take half an hour to reach Hallandale Beach, but avoid I-95, because it has plenty costly tolls, and take Rt1. We lived very close to Hallandale beach - in 5 min. walk. For those who live further there is underground parking ($2 per hour). The beach is sandy, but a sea grass was for couple days in the sea and shore. The water was 75-78F, which is good enough for swimming and air temperature was 80-83F. So vacation in Miami area may be recommended for those, who want to get some warm in the winter. There are some cons as well: area is overcrowded, due to intensive building of skyscrapers close to shore. Also there is not sun on the shore after 3pm due to presence of those skyscrapers. Because of that the Hollywood beach, which is not so far from Hallandale beach is better.

We paid a lot to stay at an ocean front property and were so put off by the amount of seaweed that we used the hotel pool instead. On the beach, there’s so much seaweed accumulated in the water that you need to wade through over 30 yds of it to get to clear water.

The chair policy at this place sucks. Bring your own! They offer chairs to certain residents of neighboring complexes, but no one else! Not even for rent! I was lowkey irritated because they had stacks of chairs that weren't being used and everyone sort of suffered through it.

I live right on Hallandale Beach so I go to the beach every week. The beach is never too crowded to enjoy the sand and the surf. There is plenty of parking next to the beach. There are many places along the water and for those who want service some foods are delivered right on the beach. The water is great year round.

Pristine, part of their $58.5 million beautification. Covered parking, convenient, cool, $1.25 per hour. Air conditioned bathrooms inside the fire station, has showers. It's a broad shallow beach, a perfect family beach. A playground and concession down the beach at South City Beach Park. Has Lifeguards, cabanas, umbrella's chairs for rent.
