Nice but pricey!
Jan 2021
Some ski paths were not in best shape after a few hours from opening. Yet, the price is the same and not low!

This is a brilliant - budget friendly - ski resort
Jan 2020
We stayed at Hotel Guk, it was a bit out of the way, but what we needed for a 6 day snowboarding trip. I was truly impressed by Bukovel, it's slopes, the quality of the snow and the general conditions. It is well worth checking out, the people are nice, the food and drinks are great and reasonably priced. What's not to love?

Bad tech support, worst customer care
Feb 2020 • Family
It's the worst service ever. I bought my skipass online in mobile app and found it blocked just by the hill. Support told me it was a bug with all skipass bought online and I just must wait silently until they fix something. In an hour still nothing 🤦‍♂️

writing as a beginner
Jan 2020
This was our 3rd ski attempt and we have chosen Bukovel due to the number of blue runs.
We had a local person helping us with accomodation and tickets, but most of the stuff is fairly available on the net.
Due to the period, the place was quite crowded, people say it is better when it is not season.
From skiing point of view you may find offers for all levels. blue to black. Advantage for the beginners is that blue ones are always close to parking sports. Every run is well maintained even if it was hot during the day and no snowfall, we had plenty of it on the tracks.
Another advantage is the availability of ski school for beginners with several tracks. You may also rent equipment. Rentals are very close to the P1 or P2 parking spots.
For the ease of logistics we moved all the gear with the car to P2 every morning and hang around there till the last shop was closed. Parking is 100 UAH per day.
Ski pass is based on a card with RF, which is nominal.
For beginners i believe the 3 hour pass is better choice than the full day one.
Ski pass booths are at every trail base.
Some eating spots are on the top of trail 7 (this is what we used mostly) but also at the bottom.
You need to know that food is a bit pricier than average for the region and this is also valid for the 3 7-11 shops which are around. One is on top of P2, the other in the bottom of P1 (biggest) and one more in the center - this is not advertised.
Should yo uhave questions let me know, im more than happy to answer.

Developing mountain resort with need to improve
Jan 2020
Quite many good quality slopes, some restaurants, hotels and SPA are nice. Tasty local meals and drinks in restaurants. Ski-pass prices too high, no ski-buss service, taxi charge high fixed prices - not by distance. Local cash need to have at most places, bank cards not accepted at many places. Tap water not drinkable quality in most of Bukovel/Polyanytsia resort ! Service staff somewhere very friendly and nice - somewhere ugly and rude. Resort municipal cleaning services working not good quality - on streets you can see much trash and dirt. This resort must to improve very much to reach EU mountain resorts level.

Less than expected
Dec 2019 • Family
My first experience at ski resort. I expected more than finally received. Prices for everything are huge. Accommodation-expensive. Big issue with parking. Everything is not right organized. I had a feeling that this place was built with very limited budget, but pretended to be extra luxury resort. This place must be definitely improved. I have a strong feeling that next ski season I’ll go definitely to different place.

Great choice of hotels. Great choice of restaurants. Great choice of leisures. Magnificent mountains. Nice people. Affordable prices. And a really gorgeous skiing domain. What else to learn from zero?

The best ski resorte
Jan 2019 • Friends
I spent vacation with my friends in Bukovel in this winter. It`s was january. Every day we skied early in the morning, at this time very few people, and the slopes are were perfect. But after noon the slopes are were very slippery, because many people are ski. The ski lifts are very fast and expensive, but we bought morning tickets and received a 15% discount.
On the slopes many nice restaurants and bars where you can drink not expensive tasty mulled wine and get warm.
I recommend spending a winter vacation in Bukovel. And I houpe spend a summer vacation here.

Best ski resort in Eastern Europe.
Mar 2019 • Couples
Great selection of slopes from beginner to really difficult free-ride zones, 66 km altogether which is enough for 3-4 days. Quality of snow was perfect even of sunny days, just as good as in Austria or even better! You can night-ski even until midnight, which is great fun! There are many other outdoor activities besides skiing, so even non-skiers can have a lot of fun in Bukovel! Ski tickets are very cheap, and even restaurants and bars are somewhat cheaper than in Western Europe, despite the same high quality! However I have to say in some restaurants and huttes, the quality is even higher than what I've experienced in Austria / France/ Italy!
The only negative about Bukovel is that the roads leading there are very bad quality, so keep in mind that in Ukraine the average speeds you can travel at is around 30 km/h, because you have to slow down so many times.

Plenty of slopes, but plenty of skiers too
Feb 2019 • Friends
More lifts and tracks than in Bukovel I have not seen at any other resort.
On weekend people crowd around the lifts, you can stand 40 minutes in the queue.
Accomodation and meals too expensive. Services are not up to european standard.
