We anticipated a chance to see the marsh and walk the advertised boardwalk. Unfortunately, neither of these happened. We could not find the boardwalk and were definitely unsettled by the very poorly kept trails. We walked 70% of the trails and never saw the marsh or any wildlife. While bikers might have a better time here, we will definitely not be back.

A really cool park where you can walk various loops. Massive pine trees in the park too. There is a pavilion where you can have a nice relaxing picnic.

Good place for a woodland walk for 30-40 minutes, not more. Never far away from the roads. I have been many times and never seen alligators on the trail - for those you need to go to La Chua trail

We checked out the Bivens Arm Nature Park recently and enjoyed our walk there, although it was shorter than we hoped. There is a boardwalk that allows you to cross over wet areas while keeping your feet dry. You might feel as if you are not in a large city when walking there, but the traffic noise is a bit too intrusive to allow that. The walking was easy and the scenery was pleasant. Nice place, but the parking lot is very small, so you want to be mindful of that. If you can't get in at Bivens Arm, travel a little down the road to Sweetwater Wetlands Park, although you'll have to pay a small fee there.

We were looking for a trail to bike, this could be a mountain trail bike, but not for road bike. Has a pavillion, it is very lonely, rugged an easy to get lost, signs ogf alligators, we tried for a mile and decided to leave. Not good experience!
