Magnificent Old Oak
Jan 2020 • Couples
The park is really just a field with a few picnic tables. The main attraction is the ancient Cellon Oak. This tree is huge. A great place for a quick stop and picnic.

A gorgeous, old oak tree!
Oct 2019
Certainly a must-see! The tree is basically its own habitat. Be on the lookout for skinks, birds, squirrels, snakes, and more.

PEACE AND SERENITY
May 2019
A lovely quiet spot . Nice for a picnic oor just to sit and chill out. Take a walk and enjoy the trees. We used it for a break on a trip to Georgia from Florida and it was perfect.

Beautiful trees, peaceful park
Aug 2019
Nice place for a relaxing picnic or a stroll among the beautiful, old trees. A few picnic tables are all of the amenities you will find, but that's all you'll need.

Wow! Worth a side trip
Jan 2019 • Couples
This little county park is really just a small pasture surrounded by houses with a huge champion live oak out in the middle of it. But, it is worth a visit! There are no facilities (water, restrooms), but it is free and easily accessible on a short dirt road. The live oak is simply stunning and would be a great spot for photos.

Natural historic beauty
Oct 2018 • Couples
The park is a lovely, well taken care of and a magically peaceful place. When we arrived there was a young man laying in the grass and I wanted to do the same thing! I guess we disturbed his reverie because he left soon after we got there.
Amazing tree. It’s the largest live oak in Florida.

Great spot for pictures
May 2017 • Friends
The park itself is just average. No restrooms or water, but usually has very few visitors, so most of the time you've got the place to yourself. The parking lot is at the end of a compacted non-paved road and fits maybe 12 cars. If you brought a lunch, this is the perfect spot to have a picnic, or read a book. Bring a camera because the oak tree sitting in this field by itself looks very majestic.

What a great place for pictures

Went out of curiosity, stayed to take pictures of that great tree. Off the beaten track, but very worth it.

awesome tree!
Jun 2017 • Couples
A true champion tree. Looks great from the parking lot, but you can tell it's been thru tough times. The one side lost a big limb and must have cracked the one under it. That limb is supported, but it is the one giving it the 154 ft. spread.

Peaceful
Mar 2017 • Couples
This park is essentially an acre field in size with the large oak tree and a few other large trees. There was no one else there when I went on a Friday afternoon for a picnic so that was nice. There is one picnic table, grill and trashcan. I brought my dog and she enjoyed it there as well.
