No reason to come to Gainesville and not see this!

Beautiful campus. Large so plan to spend at least an hour even if just driving through. Get out of your car and walk the campus to get the real feel.

I have to admit up front that I am employed by the University of Florida. The campus is an interesting blend of the old and the new. There are many sights to see, as well as the usual sports and things that you would expect to see at a large university. The "bat houses" are fun to watch at dusk...if... More

I LOVE this university! I recently visited the campus and it is beautiful. Such friendly staff, students, etc. I hope my daughter will be a gator!

I love visiting UF. It's a huge student town. I was impressed with the Gators stadium and other sport facilities. It's the # 1 university in FL

Drove to Gainesville FL on Saturday to visit Art Museum, worth the trip, very nice gallery. Interesting collection of art. In the evening attend performance by the visiting Prague Philharmonic . Of course the music was outstanding. The UF Performing Arts Center is a fabulous facility as good as or better than any NYC stage.

Amazing campus but USC is better... Go COCKS! All that aside, they have a variety of things to see and do.

I loved seeing all the different Frat houses and all the buildings. It is a peaceful place to go to. Their Downtown area is small but great. Many cafes and restaurants. I recommend it 100%.

They say if you gaze late at night you will see hundreds of pairs of glowing alligator eyes. Decided I'd visit during the day as night time is usually hunting time (smiles). It's hard to not see an alligator when walking there during the day. Not to be disappointed, when reading the Alligator safety sign there one was!!! If you... More

We took a tour of this large campus, starting from the original site with the bell tower. It was quite lovely with huge trees, teaming with students and cute little motorbikes in pastel colors.

As a student here many years ago I loved this campus. Not many State schools offer the quality of higher education and a beautiful campus with old architectural features on many of the buildings. Today the college is surrounded by numerous eating places with every type of ethnic foods served and all American favorites such as sandwich shops, pizza places,... More
