If you're in the area, the University of Florida campus is worth a walk around the area. Be sure to visit Lake Alice, and the chapel nearby. We spotted a baby gator hanging out at the edge of the lake, and were able to view it (from a safe distance) for a while. We missed the bats unfortunately, but I... More

OK, call me biased but for 27 glorious years, this has been my workplace. The place is wonderful. Students, staff, and faculty even better. Home football and home basketball games define the collegiate athletic experience. Great sports teams and sporting event up and down the list, women's lacrosse and softball, swimming and diving, baseball, volleyball, tennis, track, cross country. Major... More

A-1 University, wonderful faculty and administrative staff. The campus is beautiful and well kept. Public safety department are professional and care about student safety and security above all else. Why would anyone want to attend another school! Beats me.

My son was admitted in to the Dental School at UF so we went up for a tour. The school is huge and requires lots of walking and really is too big to handle on foot. The actual Dental school is nice enough but he ultimately chose to attend dental school in Oklahoma in spite of the added cost of... More

The campus is very spread out. You need either a car or bicycle to get around the campus. There's campus bus service as well. The center hub has a huge indoor food court with seating. The school store has all the "Gator" logo items you need. They even sell electronics- I.e. "Apple" brand products and various computer supplies including printers.... More

Hands down best university in the world. Although I may be partial since my wife and I both graduated from here. Go Gators!

Our main purpose from traveling 1150+ miles from Michigan (Go Buckeyes) to University of Florida, Gainesville was to watch our daughter receive her Master in Arts for Music Education. While we were there that weekend we took in the sites of the campus and it did not disappoint. I think the main highlight of the campus visit was for my... More

The largest single campus of any university in the US! Spread out over a beautiful campus including lakes, streams, wonderful athletic facilities, huge hospital, and located in a very friendly city... Many international students!
