Gator nation is everywhere!

Hands down best university in the world. Although I may be partial since my wife and I both graduated from here. Go Gators!

Our main purpose from traveling 1150+ miles from Michigan (Go Buckeyes) to University of Florida, Gainesville was to watch our daughter receive her Master in Arts for Music Education. While we were there that weekend we took in the sites of the campus and it did not disappoint. I think the main highlight of the campus visit was for my... More

The largest single campus of any university in the US! Spread out over a beautiful campus including lakes, streams, wonderful athletic facilities, huge hospital, and located in a very friendly city... Many international students!

Bring walking shoes or catch the convenient bus. Student union is huge and full of football goodies.

The campus was real nice, and the possibilities endless. I'm enrolling in their online program, but will have to visit the campus again from time to time. The fact that it has 10 libraries is mind blowing. I cannot wait to come back.

I dressed up in my traditional Seminole Indian headdress and went to a football game there last year. Everyone boo'd at me! How racist. They surely don't like Indians around here...

This is a very large campus that is spread out all around Shand's medical park. It was easy to see when you were on campus because of the orange and blue road signs.

UF's football stadium (the Swamp) is one of the few venues in the SEC that is open for visitors. The field is off limits, but the stands are open for walkers and exercise enthusiasts. If you are in Gainesville, a walk around the stadium is a nice way to spend 30 minutes or so, and it's free.

This is my third visit to UF in as many months, as the parent of an incoming freshman and not being a college grad myself I find the energy that this place exudes to be addicting, you can't help but feel it, the students, the faculty, even the staff at the local shops and restaurants (many of whom are students...
