Just plan beautiful. I went there as a kid before the wooden stairs but much easier to now get up and down with them. Recommend to anyone wanted to just get out in nature!

The park has many natural wonders created by God. It gives you a good overview of how nature works. Time has changed little, yet time has created a place to contemplate how the forces of nature can change the world. It also gives thought of...More

If you're tired of normal parks, go here. It's part of the Weird Florida tour. On hot summer days it's the coolest thing you can do outside.

Looking for a good couple of hours to hike and see a local, central Florida attraction. Entrance fee is only $4 per car. Lot of walking trails and a museum. A great family or nature excursion.

Not what I was expecting. Still neat to see, I suppose. Will say the mosquitoes were worrisome once you start walking down the stairs. They were biting THROUGH my clothes. If they weren't so bad, I might have been able to enjoy the view a...More

Unfortunately, Irma made a mess of the stairs that go down to the sinkhole and we weren't able to see much, just walk a short trail around it at the top. Good news is that volunteers were helping to clean up and hopefully the stairs...More

This is an interesting geological feature-a giant sinkhole which has developed it's own environment. A hiking trail surrounds the sinkhole and stairs take you into it to see the unique flora. Unfortunately Hurricane Irma damaged the stairway so you cannot go down. A small fee...More

One of the few sites in Florida that involves stairs and a descent. It is well laid out but you have to go down into the ravine. Once there, it is kind of a strange pond that both beautiful and creepy.

We went as a quick stop. It was a neat park and a good short walking trail. Unfortunately, hurricane Irma has damaged the boardwalk that goes into the sinkhole. Do not that deter you from visiting for a nice pretty walk.

Very short walk around the top of the sink. Call to see if stairs have been completely repaired to go down into the sink. Visitor Center has a short video as well. You could complete every thing in 2 hours.

I am sorry but not sure. The park service has been repairing them but delayed due to all if the heavy rains we have had this year.
