Most will know these gardens from the various garden shows held there, but it is a good place to visit at all times. The gift shop is particularly interesting. And the Gainesville Orchid Society meets there every month...

Great place for stroll thru some beautiful plants. Also possible picnic areas. Easy paths for walking. Very interesting paths. We were there when had some bands playing which was very pleasant but that is only at certain events.

The gardens are a beautiful example of wild and natural as well as formal. The walk through is a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Wear comfortable shoes.

We started coming here together in 1988, and ended up getting married here in 1991, we return every few years, and it keeps getting better. The staff here is very nice and accommodating, the facilities are clean and well maintained, and the gardens are amazing.

The gardens are beautiful and very peaceful. We went on Mother's Day 2015 and mom's got a discounted rate. The bamboo garden is amazing and they actually sell bamboo at certain times of the year. You can also rent it as a venue for special events. I loved it!

Take a walk through this botanical garden and you'll come away in awe of the beautiful plants, bamboo, ferns, flowering bushes throughout the property. This is a must see in Gainesville Florida.

great visit, dog friendly, nice shops and probably several miles of trails around the garden. Any time of year is good for a visit. They also have a kids garden
