We come by here when riding the Hawthorne-Gainesville bike trail. Refreshments available and bathroom. Nice playground for kids. And a small walking trail with plants.

we spent last dec 31 at the park along with hundreds of other folk, all enjoying the wonderful fireworks. as it is quite popular, plan to leave early to get a parking spot less than a mile away

Yes, there is a pravilion on the east side that has a few and some places you can get out of the rain. GREAT lay out and parking is on that side of the park as well.
