This campground is a slice of real Florida. It's rustic natural authentic. If you are looking for the Disney experience, this is not the place for you. The roads are dirt, the camp sites have leaves in them. The bath house is clean, functional and rustic. Think bare cement floors plywood stalls and bare light bulbs. There is good room... More

The transport from where you park to the river is a short few-minute drive. Both drivers Steve and John, are personality plus, they put the kayaks in the water for you, and make sure that you are comfortably in your kayaks before they leave you. No way to describe the river... absolutely so gorgeous it does not seem real. Note:... More

Perfect location to get to the Ichetucknee Springs. The sites were close to, but not right on top of each other. We stayed on the primitive spot that had power and water hook ups. Make sure you have an outlet adapter for power if you plan on plugging in. There is both a grill for cooking and a campfire ring.... More

Great place to go with friends and family, fun for all. Swimming and going down the river is fun, the area is clean and full of outdoor adventure.

Positive: The location to the north entrance of the spring could not have been better. It's literally walking distance but you've got to get there with your tubes before 8am or you'll have to drive to the south entrance. A/C unit in the cabin - thank goodness! The campsites had plenty of picnic tables, charcoal grills, and fire rings. The... More

Ichetucknee Family Canoe and Cabins was a great place to camp. The campsites are fairly priced, they have accommodations for RV's and there is TONS of space to have fun. There are also many trees for shade. It is also a very short distance from the entrance to Ichetucknee Springs. A stocked camp store has everything from soft drinks to... More

This is the most reasonably priced place to rent tubes to float on the river. Tip the guys a few bucks and he will do an extra nice job securing the tubes to your car. You can also get coupons on line and save a couple of bucks.

Depends on your opinion about camping places but I'd like to this place fine . The cabins are very very rustic so just expect that . I had a cabin number 47 and if I was going to complain about one thing there is a giant flood light on your cabin all night which doesn't make for a very fun... More

I've grown up swimming and tubing at the park, as an adult I wanted to camp overnight, originally called about primitive sites, but ones with water and electric isn't too much more :) The cabins are $50 a night, perfect l perfectly quant for a quick getaway. When we got there, MY HUSBAND HAD TAKEN US TO THE WRONG CAMPGROUND!... More

I've stayed at this campground 5-6 times. Whether I've rented cabins, stayed in campers or primitive tent camped, each experience has been equally positive. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. You can't find a more convenient place, as it's less than 3 minutes from the north entrance to the Ichetucknee state park. The onsite tube rentals are super convenient.... More
