Depends on your opinion about camping places but I'd like to this place fine . The cabins are very very rustic so just expect that . I had a cabin number 47 and if I was going to complain about one thing there is a giant flood light on your cabin all night which doesn't make for a very fun... More

I've grown up swimming and tubing at the park, as an adult I wanted to camp overnight, originally called about primitive sites, but ones with water and electric isn't too much more :) The cabins are $50 a night, perfect l perfectly quant for a quick getaway. When we got there, MY HUSBAND HAD TAKEN US TO THE WRONG CAMPGROUND!... More

I've stayed at this campground 5-6 times. Whether I've rented cabins, stayed in campers or primitive tent camped, each experience has been equally positive. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. You can't find a more convenient place, as it's less than 3 minutes from the north entrance to the Ichetucknee state park. The onsite tube rentals are super convenient.... More

Checked in with three kids ages 12 & under. It's a VERY family friendly spot to get away for the weekend. We had a primitive cabin, you can't beat the price. Nice and clean with a super friendly staff. We rented our floats from the campground to tube the Ichetucknee, they helped us pick out styles that would suit our... More

My husband and I went kayaking in several locations in north/west Florida over the course of a week. This location is a new favorite. The campground and rentals are family run. Everyone in the rental, shuttle, put-in process was friendly. The person who dropped us off told us to take our time and we were glad we listened to that... More

I just got back from a wonderful weekend in Fort White. I highly recomend renting kayaks, tubes or paddleboards. Tubing gives a great view of the trees and the river however when you are on a paddleboard you can see the bottom and all the fish so its a whole different view of the river. We went all the way... Very professional and excellently priced. They picked us up right away when we called and even gave us some travel tips for extra places to visit.

Great day to be on the river. Not too crowded with either kayakers or tubers. Water was 72 degrees and gin-clear. Saw 2 manatees, plenty of garfish, turtles and cormorants. Used the sit-inside Old Town kayak and the molded in seat was comfortable and kept your butt up off the bottom of the boat so I stayed dry and had... More

Great location near the north entrance to Ichetucknee River State Park, where kayaks, canoes & tubes are launched. The campground itself is fine: reasonable prices & shady sites. They have the best prices for renting kayaks & other modes of floating down the fabulous Ichetucknee River, including drop off & pick up downstream. Great service too. I should note that... More
