We hired a photographer to take my daughters senior pictures and this is where she had us meet, all of my years in Florida I had never been here before, this was some of the most pristine strip of beach and natural dunes I have ever seen, so beautiful and natural. The park itself offers restrooms and shelter houses but... More

This is the place to walk on a quiet beach, no big parties like The Boardwalk further down. Walk along for miles without distractions. Parking is also close to the beach so you aren't hauling your stuff forever. If you want Spring Break rowdies, then this isn't your stop.

John C Beasley Park is an amazing beach with plenty of amenities! Sugar white sand, turquoise water, showers, changing rooms, ample parking, snacks for purchase, and restrooms- what more could you ask for? This is definitely a hidden gem! My family and I will be coming back for years to come! I think it is even better than Siesta Key!

I take my chair an umbrella and cooler and make a day of it. Fairly clean bathrooms and showers to rinse off the beautiful white sand. Sometimes it does get a little busy but nobody has ever bothered me to the point of disruption. Free parking.

The Okaloosa Island Best Beach in the area. WOW! Everything you need at the Beach: restrooms, showers, picnic tables and lots of parking. Short walking distance to the Ramada Inn outside bar and food plus another maybe 100 yards to the Okaloosa Island Board walk which has everything, really everything...You will not be disappointed.

If you want to go to a loud beach with lots of people then this is your place. I grew up coming here and playing and as a kid I didn't care so much about the people or the noise. Now that I'm older, I like quiet beaches with fewer people. Nice facilities, though if you need a place for... More

Hard to leave this place , bring our food ,cook at park or swim all day. After storm's the sea shells are brilliant , the white sand makes it even more beautiful to know I live here and I truly TAKE ADVANTAGE OF IT .

It has a huge parking lot. I go in November, and it is less than 20% full. The pavilions and bathroom area is very nice. The sand on the beach is white, and sometimes there are no waves in the gulf which makes for good swimming. The rest of the island all the way to Destin has no businesses. This... More
