I was going to fish but didn't see much going on. They said the water was 67 degrees and is normally 57 this time of year so the fishing is kinda goofy. I did have a sea turtle swim by so that was cool

The fishing pier on Okaloosa Island is a must. I think it's the best two bucks I've ever spent. It's beautiful just to look around. The beach the buildings the emerald water. If you want to fish you can rent a pole licence included for eight bucks. And that's all day! Don't miss it

I love to stroll out on the pier and chat with the people fishing while sipping an adult beverage. Great views and the people watching is very entertaining. Have I mentioned that you can consume adult beverages?

I found this on Trip Advisor and we went. It was only $2.00 per person to walk the long pier. $8.00 to fish. It was well worth it!! We stayed quite some time. It was breath-taking. We wanted to come back in the evening but time was not on our side that day. I would highly recommend walking on this... More

It was $2 per person to walk the pier. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Felt it was well worth the $2. Saw lots of birds. Enjoyed the view all the way around. Watched people fish off the pier. Great for people watching and enjoying the ocean?

Oskaloosa Island is the best of both worlds. Less traffic and beautiful beaches. It's only a 10 minute drive to Destin where you can find shopping, dining and watersports.

I thought $2 was pretty cheap admission to walk out along the pier and to see the most beautiful sunset. We also got to watch the dolphins!!! Sadly, we only did the pier on our last night in Fort Walton, otherwise it would have been a nightly event!! We fell in love with this area and are already planning our... More

Another check off on our fishing pier list! The weather was not the best with a major cold front coming thru while we were there. The wind blow 20 with 30 mph gust. Needless to say the fishing was not the best but we did have fun catching bait. I did see one blue and a gulf flounder caught. The... More

We went to the Okaloosa Pier and its nice. There is an admission fee to go out on the pier but it is only a couple of dollars. There were a lot of people fishing but not doing a lot of catching. I rated this as average because of what else the area has to offer. Paying to walk out... More

I always love piers but this one cost $2 just to walk in it and it wasn't worth it. There were a lot of people fishing but we didn't see anyone catch anything.
