Cool area, great views and nearby bars and restaurants
The Fort Pierce Jetty Park is a great area for both locals and out of town era to visit. The free parking lot is large and two block s further south is another city owned free parking lot. And there’s a paid parking lot across the street from the park area. Visitors can walk out into the paved jetty for great views of the ocean, the inlet, beaches, manatees and the occasional rocket launch from Cape Canaveral. Fishermen frequent the area so it’s also fun to see what the local fresh catch is. Immediately adjacent to the park is Taco Dive, Hurricane Wings, The Square Grouper, Fort Pierce Beach Resort, Jackie’s Beach Bar and the world famous Jetty Bar where decades of cigarette smoke have tinted the windows and gallons of “to go” frozen rum runners have intoxicated many guests. The brown souvenir tee shirts they offer were white when they were originally printed and many celebrities around the world have been photographed wearing these tee shirts. There’s plenty of great food and drink options in the immediate vicinity and the atmosphere and views are second to none.

Grab your swing and grill and have a wonderful day
This is a beautiful place on the water where you can watch the boats, swing a little and cook on the grills. There's also a wide concrete walkway along the water. There are restaurants nearby also. Very nice place to relax.

Beautiful, romantic stroll out, back, and around
We were staying across the street so after dinner, we strolled together thru the park (cute sculptures and decorations), then out the whole pier. It is surprisingly long. We hit it at sunset and the sky was spectacular - deepening to a dark purple. It was a very romantic walk - despite one section smelling badly due to some rotting seaweed. Then we continued up the jetty past a couple of restaurants. Unhurried. Sweet. A great evening.

    Quite Busy During High Season
Stopped to see the Atlantic, sand beach, and walked the jetty watching the marine life and boat traffic. Very busy as it is high tourist season and parking is at a premium although free. Worth a quick stop but would suggest one of the other many public beaches along the Nature Coast as they would probably be less busy.

You've come a long way baby
I have been a snow bird since 2004 and a resident of North Hutchinson Island since 2008. I have watched Fort Pierce grow from a little sketchy sea side town to a great place to live. Every year Fort Pierce grows and improves. People used to be a bit embarrassed to say they lived in Fort Pierce. Now in 2020 I am proud of our town. The Jetty Park has made a great transformation. The new restaurants, the renovated park, the expanded parking, the swing sets, picnic tables, clean family area and beach make it a great place to spend a sunny day.

    Check it Out!
Jetty Park is gem on South Hutchison Island. Walking paths, picnic tables, great fishing, people watching, and lots of sea birds and geckos. Lots of free parking on Seaway Drive just west of the park. Restaurants just to the south near the round-a-bout. Worth a visit!

    A gem on the beach
This little campground is one of Brevard County's hidden gems. Situated next to the beach and cruise ship inlet, it is a great place for camping of all kinds (tent to motorcoach). The beach is pristine, very wide and sandy, with dunes that serve as sea turtle nesting grounds. There is also a fishing pier that stretches several hundred feet into the ocean. jetty Beach is also a great place to watch rockets launch from Cape Canaveral. There are sites with full hook-ups, as well as just water/electric sites (there is a dump station. They even have wifi. Did I mention the rates are very reasonable? Because they are. My wife and I have stayed here 4 times since moving to Florida in January. It is a little slice of heaven.

Glad we stopped here, when passing through.
Travelling north on the A1A coastal road, you are forced to turn left at a roundabout/circular. Go straight across to find the free parking for this park area. A minutes walk away is a sandy beach. There is a long jetty allowing a pleasurable walk. Fishing appears to be allowed. I noted a number of plaques which were memorialising people who had died. The walkway was wide and safe, although sometimes a little wet (can't stop that!). The walk also goes back towards town, but does not go that far. Here you can see fishermen and pelicans who are not phased by people just feet away.

    It’s the real deal
Walking from the inlet out to the ocean along a paved walkway with benches , with the ocean beach to your right, and the boats coming & going in the current to your left...people fishing on either side. Benches, restrooms & free parking nearby. Nicely done, Ft. Pierce!

Just one of the best places to relax in Florida. So much fun just walking around visiting with everyone. Great food and drinks right across the street with good music and friendly people galore. Love watching the kite boarders and cannot get enough of just watching the inlet especially during high and low tide. Truly fascinating.

We decided to get away for 1 night and chose to go to Ft. Pierce, FL. We discover a very nice County Park, Jetty Park South. There are plenty of parking spaces and nice swings to set in a watch boats go by. There is a restaurant/bar right next to the park that you can walk to. Was very relaxing. Will definitely be going back.

Go to the jetty and sit in a quiet place. Listen to the quiet. The water is beautiful. Seeing kids run in the sand or couples walking hands together can help relieve the stress of a tough day. Bring a book. I do, but I never get to read it. The birds, the walkers, the boats passing all grab my attention and make me relax and smile. Enjoy.
