Unfortunately we just missed the Saturday farmers market but still glad we visited and walked around the marina and town. Some historical landmarks worth seeing - shops, bars and restaurants. It was the lead up to St Patrick's Day so everywhere was pretty busy (but...More

Great little city with a great downtown. Many shops to browse and many restaurants to eat in. Lisa jill art gallery is a great art studio to visit. People are very friendly and helpful with directions.

Every weekend there is a green market from 8:00-12:00 at the Marina downtown. It’s extremely popular, with good reason. Music, food, beverages, crafts, art, jewelry, plants, flowers, herbs, pastries. Dips and sauces- all in addition to produce. Palm trees, blue water, wheeling seabirds, and fresh...More

A beautiful town on the inlet and waterway. Clean, lovely and historic, relaxing! Not crowded touristy but lovely and peaceful. Nice restaurants, a few shops, parks, views of the water and boats. Backus Art Gallery. Aquarium. Enjoy with kids and family.

The first Friday, every Wednesday, and every Saturday, there are events in downtown. Farmers market, live music, street vendors. Good scene. Only problem with downtown is there a lot of homeless. Several churches in the area provide meals and shelter, which is great, but unfortunately...More
