We went specifically for the exhibit on the "Highwaymen"- a group of black Florida artists who were influenced and encouraged by Bean Backus. The exhibit was excellent, with a marvelous video presentation on the history of the Highwaymen.

Visited during the annual Highwaymen Art Exhibit. Great lecture given, and a wonderful display of Backus’ work along with his mentee artists. A reception followed where we could interact with artists. Real treat!
