Very pleased with the folks from Wind and Water Sports! We did the jet ski dolphin tour and parasailing combo. We got there 30 minutes prior which allowed time to get settled and paperwork completed. Be aware though that the limited parking at the hotel they are located at fills up quick and it's $10 to park. We did the 11 am jet ski tour and once the 9 am tour got back we jumped on and were out for about 1:45. We saw 3 pods of dolphins, watched a dolphin play in the wake of the tour guide's jet ski and just missed seeing a manatee. It was a great time. Then we came back and did the upgraded parasailing. What a great experience. The entire staff was great and easy to work with and talk to. Highly recommend this trip!

Did the dolphin tour with Noah. He was was amazing, took extra time to share about dolphins and how to use the equipment. The amount of dolphins we saw was close to 30 and he even made them jump so we can see them jump out of water. Took the 9am tour would recommend best value for your price. Jet skis are very well kept best I saw on the beach.

Wind and Water Sports is located in front of the Lani Kai hotel. My sister and I Parasailed with them, she did a banana boat ride, and we rented chairs and umbrellas. All of the people including from those in the kiosk to the boat and tour operators were very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We felt completely safe. I have a huge fear of heights, so the parasail ride was “okay” for me, but very enjoyable for my sister. I did have a great time in the boat and watching others. It was totally worth it. Due to our room location, we had opportunity to observe them setting up and tearing down several times. I was extremely impressed by the organization, efficiency, and hard work of these people. It appeared they work 12 plus hour days setting up chairs and umbrellas and moving waver runners into and out of the water. The wave runners were rinsed down every evening and chairs stored. They have many John Deer tractors to help with all of the moving of chairs and wave runners. I feel like they care about maintaining their equipment which I think equates to quality and safety.
There was only one issue I had, and it could be that my nerves were in the way. I knew to stand when you come back in, but did not expect the bar to be in front of me......do you grab it, go under it, etc? I ended up standing and then sat down, which was not correct. All was good though, they just told me to stand back up. I would definitely trust them again.

This place has the WORST business practices I've ever experienced. They played a charred of their boat "having a sensor issue" and wouldn't give my wife a ride for parasailing. They took our group back into shore and immediately brought another group back out to their only parasailing boat. After we received our refund, we asked why they brought another group out after telling us they had an issue. They told us it was because my wife was over weight, which is ridiculous considering two other people in our group were more than her and I combined. What they did was blatant discrimination and the fact that they faked the boat having issues shows the depth of their integrity and how much of a scam their business is. Pathetic.

Josh, I'm sorry you became so upset about your wife not being able to Parasail. We have certain safety standards and best practices in place solely for our customers safety. We are proud to have a 100 percent safety record going over 20 years because of our strict safety policy.
Some people have certain physical limitations including their size which conflicts with the sport of Parasailing and the physics related to the activity.
You mentioned we flew 2 people in your party of which weighed more than this person combined. That is true, and while I don’t expect any customers to be an expert in our industry, I do expect our guests to respect the safety decisions made by a U.S.C.G federally licensed master captain with over 2 decades of experience.
What you refused to hear was that your wife exceeded our individual weight limit and could not safely parasail. This is due to 3 very important reasons. First her weight exceeded the manufacturers limit listed on the harness. Second, her body type would not fit safely into a parasail harness. Third, no one on our staff could offer any assistance to this person in the event of an emergency due to her size. The captain decided not to allow her to parasail for safety reasons.
Every day, we must make decisions in terms of public safety. Unfortunately, some of these decisions hurt peoples feelings, but we do not have a choice. People’s safety comes first, and I would never ask a professional in a particular industry to break their rules and put myself, their business, or someone’s career on the line for my personal enjoyment.
I was happy to hear from the others in your group that they respected our decision and enjoyed their ride

We had a small group just 2 jet ski and the guide. It was perfect because have too large of a group probably only delays how far you can go. The jet ski are scarier to ride and I wouldn’t recommend this for everyone in the family. If you want to enjoy your experience do a small group! We got to see wild dolphins and go through some neat areas! 100% recommended! Our tour guide was your out of the movies surfer vibe guy. Great energy and really wanted to show us the cool sites! He loved the ocean and it showed!

I took my sun parasailing on Christmas Eve. Due to some wind advisory we were made aware of, the crew accommodated us to an earlier time so we would not miss out on the fun. Everyone was very helpful and polite. We were so glad to have done this. The facial expression on my sons face , sailing 75 feet up above the gulf was priceless. That was a my highlight of this trip.

We had a groups of 8, 4 adults and 4 teenagers. We all had a great time on our dolphin tour! We were lucky enough to see about 10- 12 dolphins at various points of the tour. The jet skis were reliable and we received good instructions on how to use them. Our guide checked in frequently to see how we were doing. Toward the end of the tour, our guide took us down a winding river, which was a blast for our teens. The ride back to the other end of the island was a little rough yesterday, but still lots of fun!

The workers were incredible. We loved our dolphin tour, and had a blast parasailing!!
Everyone was both professional and fun. We felt safe, thoroughly enjoyed our experiences, and would absolutely recommend this company for anyone heading to Fort Myers beach!!

We loved it!!! We started to book with a different company but they closed early and I’m so glad they did…WWR was simply amazing from start to finish. Captain Duff & Justin are so awesome & helpful. From start to finish they eased our minds and made it so much fun while out! Played awesome music, were super friendly, just an overall amazing experience! We will definitely be back on our next trip!!

Was able to book ahead of time on the website and spent minutes checking in followed by a short instruction before being able to hit the water. Quick and easy, very friendly and helpful staff. When we flipped our wave runner 3 staff members were to us within seconds of the wipeout to ensure we were ok and they stayed until we right sided the water craft and were safely back on board and riding off again. Will definitely be back, riding a little slower next time.
