Only sailed by this, but looks great

I only sailed by this on a pontoon boat, but the sand looks spectacular, it is in a lagoon, but with a channel to the sea, so the water is constantly rotating. The people and... read more

Check the tide table and don't go at high tide. At other times the beach is wide and has some big puddles for the dogs who might not want to swim. We went at 11am and there were about 30 dogs of all sizes off leash having a blast. I did not see any poo piles at all. All the... More

We accompanied our god-dog to this open-access beach near Lover's Key. There were many dogs there playing and everyone was being responsible and attentive to their pets and how they were interacting with other dogs. Our Golden Retriever loves water, and it was nice that he had a place to go off-leash.

The beach area is set up for dogs and dog lovers! Plenty of space to let them romp in the warm water. Free parking is available and access is easy. You might want to check tides as high tide can make the access a little challenging in that you may have to wade to get to the sandy beach area.

Took our two dogs. They had a great time playing in the water and hanging out. We tried to avoid busy times. It seems afternoons get alot of traffic and early mornings are slower. Most dogs were well behaved and we'll supervised.

Fantastic off leach dog beach for dogs of all sizes. Check tide charts before going, only great at low tide.

Great food at the beach but again anything is good at the beach. Ox does have fantastic fish sandwiches, BLT sandwiches, hamburger sandwiches they are a great place to eat and their prices are very reasonable.

This place is so gross. If you love your dog do not take it here. Went off season on weekday figuring it would be less busy. On approach, one has to walk in and out of shallow water and thru narrow paths to get to the dog beach. It was almost impossible to avoid dog feces throughout the water and all... More

Dogs are allowed to run free. Shallow water and plenty of room. Waste bags and containers provided. everyone is pet friendly and respectful of others. This is a dog park never know how many will be there. Kids and dogs have a great time in the shallow water. Amount beach depends on tide

Dog Beach is a tidal beach that is more acessable at low tide. There were many dogs on the beach that were alllowed to run with no supervision.
